Just moved in -wanted something fun -just put these up and ooohhhhh I Absolutely love them! Just like many of the reviews, I was really surprised by the quality. The velvet isn’t too thin or too thick, texture is a nice rich look, color is vibrant length and fit perfect. The pom-poms edging is attached well, tiebacks are a gorgeous touch and give it a really unique look- it’s just a good job all around if you want something, a little more luxurious and fun. I thought they might be too dark in my apartment but with white curtains that let the light in they work great! I have a couch that is confusingly somewhere between burgundy and maroon depending on the lighting so I was a little nervous as to the reds clashing. Oddly enough, it works just right between the way the light hits them both! I purchased other curtains for my room, before seeing these and now I am jones’in to get the gray version of these! Beware if you have a lot of windows, these are highly addicting! (Luckily, I don’t have many!)😆 ... show more

These curtains are everything! They are shipped in a nice bag, very well protected. I chose to use rings to hang them, WOW! They made my bedroom come to life! I could not be happier! They are quite heavy, albeit not theatre quality thickness and quite a short pile BUT still very velvety and gorgeous! BLOOD RED if the camera didn't catch that, just what I wanted! Only 1 pom pom fell off, which surprised me for the sheer quantity of them! I bought (4) total sets of the RED 96" length and (2) of the gold. SPECTACULAR! I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING! The price is fantastic for this quality. I will be purchasing more, even if I don't need them. I'll find a use, like surrounding my inset shelving in the living room, or attaching them to a wall with diamond pattern tufted cushion material behind, like they did back then instead of wall paper. Another tip, you can see this in my photos, is to buy the longer ones and install at the ceiling, or close to, to make your windows look larger. I may widen the curtain rods as well. I am using dark out rods that turns the corner into the wall. Next, I think I will search out some victorian style valances next. SO ROMANTIC AND ELEGANT!
