I really like how much privacy this privacy films gives. At first I was skeptical about how well this would work. It was pretty easy to put on the windows with a bit of water and soap to allow the film to be easily placed without ripping. As for the bubbles, it was easy to remove with any tools you have at home. From the inside you can't really tell there is a film but once you step outside and try to take a peek inside it is, just a reflection of the exterior. I really like the final product of this and I would for sure get more for areas I would like more privacy. ... show more

This window film provides some privacy from those that may look in the windows from the outside. Installation of the film was pretty straightforward in terms of application to the window but was met with some frustrations getting it flat. I first cleaned the window with glass cleaner and then made a 50/50 spray bottle mixture of 91% isopropyl alcohol and water with a couple drops of dish soap. As I peeled the tint from its adhesive backing I sprayed the mixture onto the backing and window, you want to make sure it's wet enough to move the tint around. I started the film from the top of the window and use a plastic scraper (not included) a credit card or flat plastic will work fine as well. I pushed out the excess liquid under the film from the center outward till the film had no bubbles and stuck to the window. I had some troubles getting it flat, probably due to limited skill with tints, the overall tint came out good with just a few creases and bubbles. The roll was slightly shorter in width than my window so I had to cut a small sliver and line it up with the tint on the straight edge, it's hardly noticeable from a distance. I also have an OLED TV in the room and I think this tint helps take some off the screen from the sunlight, I usually have the curtains closed when using the TV though. The tinted window in the photo is on the right side, so you can see the difference in lighting and can still view from inside the room. It's winter time now so it's different to tell if the insulation of the tint makes the room cooler. I'm planning to order more and tint a couple more windows on the house since there's a hiking trail near the backyard and people can easily look into my house. ... show more

So I got this tint to put on my front window and door to provide a bit of privacy while allowing my cats to look outside. Definitely follow the instructions or else you will spend an hour trying to get out all the bubbles. Spray water or soapy water on the clean window, tear off the film on the tint and SPRAY THE TINT! I repeat SPRAY THE TINT! I did not do this on the first window and it was a nightmare. Did it on the second one and oh my goodness I was done in less than 10 minutes. As you can see in the first picture the tint provides a more bluish hue. the second picture of the door is what it looks like in broad daylight, the bottom half is tinted while the top half is just plain glass, as you can see it adds almost no extra mirror effect but it does make it hard to see the front door that's open behind it. The third picture is of my front window, same thing, tint on the bottom, regular glass on top, both behind a screen. You cant see what's behind the bottom window. Ok so now I will say, while this works well when the house is dark, you can still see through it to see the light of a window on the other side of the house. It does have a mirror effect on the inside as well. And if the inside of the house is brighter than it is outside, you get no privacy and you also can not see out of your windows, that's probably the largest drawback because my cats like to look out the windows at night. ... show more

if you have "that window" at ground levelo or close proximity to neighbors that you want to be able to open the curtains on "but don't." Or if you just want to tint that window giving you sun glare this film will do it. This will fix the issue "during daylight hours" Note all privacy film acts differently when it's nighttime or more light inside than out, just be aware of this. Installation was simple "with 4 hands" follow the directions trim film to size and apply then squeegee the air out. Having done auto tint before the process is the same, and once it dries you can open the blinds during the day knowing that someone would have to cup hands on the window to see indoors. Good product covers a couple small windows and one average sized one, and get larger film for picture windows, & I'll probably order one more roll for my last problem area. ... show more

This was by far some of the easiest window tint that I've ever used! Cuts like butter and sticks like superglue! I did NOT have any issues with air bubbles or peeling! And it sure does its job! There's plenty on the roll where you can cover quite a few windows! I highly recommend this for your window tint! ... show more

I put this film on the sidelights of my older door. The only problem was with the old sidelights and not the film. Directions are easy to follow bit if widows have wood edges with flaky paint then it becomes a little bit of a pain. The only way around this would be to scrape the window edges and put a fine bead of caulk and allow it a few days to dry. We're replacing this door in 6 months to about a year and thought this would buy us some time if we have to wait longer to replace the door. --It looks good --I could feel a difference in temperature from the filmed window and non filmed on a single pain. Is it a good materiall--I think so but time will tell. ... show more

I ordered this film to provide some privacy over the window of my front door. It wasn't as easy to apply as I thought it would be and it didn't provide the privacy either. The film really is just a tint. I could see through it on both sides.
