I went with this bench, because it has a pretty good weight rating while still being compact when folded. I lift dumbbells and do resistance band stuff in my kitchen, so I can easily put my chair to the side and bring this out for the hour or so I need it. To me it's about keeping things in a small footprint. The bench comes fully assembled except for 4 screws, a couple foot pads to slide on and the three set pins. It includes the tools, and took less than 5 minutes to put together. After that, besides being a little awkward to handle, it's so easy to set and get going. The structure is strong. Even with a good deal of adjustability with the dual set pin configuration, it doesn't feel loose in any of the different positions. I think the flar base feet help with the stability, instead of having the common round tube base. The seat is a bit small for my big ole booty, but it holds my 375lbs plus weights just fine. The cushions are thick enough to keep my mass from squishing my bum bones into the metal. It'll work great for my small setup. Folding it up is a matter of pulling the three set pins and replacing them to store, however, the set pin for the hinge between the back and seat parts doesn't fit into the same spot when folded. Not sure why this is the case as it would have only taken a small tweak to the design in that area. Anyhow, after folding you carry it by the handle to where you want to store it and lean it. You don't have to, but I removed the headrest extension so it sits more secure. Two extra screws to take out and put back, but it sits a bit more stable to store. So, it's a pretty good workout bench to start out with. It will get me through my dumbbell and resistance band phase until I get strong enough to go to a full gym for heavier stuff. It is a little on the pricey side, so try to get it on a deal. ... show more

I did a lot of research when trying to find an affordable folding weight bench. So many of them use the same stock images and descriptions. It was mind numbing trying to find something that fit the criteria I was looking for. I finally took a risk on this and it is honestly everything I could ask for. The construction is solid and doesn't feel cheap. Granted I don't lift more than 50 lb dumb bells, so there isn't a ton of pressure on this, but given the design I don't see any points of failure where it could collapse. It is just the right width and the leg supports have never made it feel like it is going to tip over. The leather material is properly stretched and a good quality. It isn't loose or wrinkly in any areas and I haven't noticed sanitizing wipes affecting it at all. I thought that the gap between the seat and back would be bothersome, but it really isn't. Photo attached, as it is worth noting. Also, regarding the holding pins- there is actually a makeshift slot near the handle when you fold it up that they slide into. It initially takes a little bit of time to get used to the folding design, but it is quite quick once you figure it out. Attached are the photos I wish I had available when purchasing. Overall I haven't came across any regrets or true flaws in the design of this bench. For about $100 as an average price, I would absolutely buy this again. ... show more

I am a competitive physique bodybuilder and I needed to augment my home gym so I'm not spending all my time in my real gym. This works... I guess. It's very light. It tends to want to tip over. The rubber feet fall off if you move it at all. It has decent adjustable notches. It's pretty flimsy. It suits my needs, but barely. ... show more

I'm impressed with how nicely built this adjustable workout bench is. It set up in a matter of minutes. The bench is extremely comfortable with nice cushioning. The adjustments are plentiful including changing the angle on the seat not just the back to keep your spine well aligned. When lifting heavy I'm impressed with the stability on any surface including carpet. I experience zero wobble when doing step-ups. Now with this bench I can challenge my weight training and achieve new levels of strength with full range of motion. It offers a padded bar for me to lock in my feet if wishing to do situps and this is adjustable up or down for my height. Great place to set my feet when bench pressing since with the seat angled up for correct spine alignment, my feet can't touch the floor. The bonus of this weight bench is it is easy to move and has a very small foot print for storage. Plus it has an additional headrest which is tall enough for my 6' 7" hubbie to rest his head comfortably while lifting while my 5' 3" physique is cradled to perfection. The accents are flashy and the bench pad has a nice fabric and is sewn and constructed well. I can easily carry it to any room with the bench straight up and I discovered it is more of a pain to fold up by removing a single pin. Plus the pin could get lost and it doesn't pull or push in that easy. Leaving it set up is the best for me. I'm very happy and highly recommend. ... show more
