I replaced 2 old school fans with these, plus 2 other similar-factor smart fans from other brands that were annoying us. My only regret is not doing so sooner. These are built very well for the price point, crazy easy to install, and bright enough even for a guest room that has been notoriously hard to light well. The smart features and Alexa integration are serviceable; the skill integration creates separate "devices" in Alexa for the fan, the colored light, and the main light, which is fine for basic control. Anything more complicated can be accomplished by creating scenes in the Lumary app, which also appear for triggering in Alexa routines. I wish companies would work on making smart home simpler, but functional seems to be the best we can get, and these devices are both functional and reliable. The only drawback is that this type of small fan is best for general air circulation, which it does quietly and effectively when set to ~30% speed. It's not going to give you a big breeze the way a fan with 40-inch blades does. If you crank it to high speed it can get a bit noisy, I can't cite decibels but at full speed it's about as loud as the "medium" setting on one of our white noise machines. The other two brands we had behaved similarly. If you want something that moves a lot of air quietly, this type of fan probably isn't for you. ... show more

This is the perfect fixture for a child's bedroom/ playroom/ home office. -PROS- The many different features and combinations of settings, allow you to illuminate your room in Dozens of different ways. If you simply want light, then the highest daylight setting coupled with the design, will fully illuminate your room beyond your expectations. The color changing pattern and timer seeing are enough to keep your kid memorized for hours. Additionally, the fan runs so quiet that you might forget it's on. Very simple to install as well. -CON- The control of this fixture by smartphone app or voice control is only possibly with a WiFi/ home network preceding 5G. That means if you have 5G in your home, you can't use your phone to control anything - you will only be able to use the remote that comes with it - so didn't misplace the remote. **Honorable mention to this company though, that if you reach out to them, they will allow you to purchase another remote.** In all, this fixture goes beyond what I needed in my kids room. The media could not be loaded. Probably the best smart fan you can get right now. I researched for days before finally deciding on this. Nothing else seemed to come close to this in terms of quality and variety of lighting options. Works flawlessly with Alexa so don't even need to use the remote or the app unless I want to change up the lighting scene. Very happy with purchase. Easy to install for a beginner as well. Much more user friendly than a more traditional ceiling fan as far as installation goes. This being my first Lumary product im very impressed. Highly recommend. **Be aware that if your wifi network cannot support a 2.4ghz bandwidth the wifi functionality will not work. Meaning you cannot pair with Alexa or Google home or use the app.** If this is what you want you need to have a router/modem capable of not only 5ghz but also 2.4ghz, if not you will be stuck with only using the remote.. This is the only downside to this product. Maybe in the future they will upgrade them to work with 5ghz on a newer model. As for the fan itself although smaller than more traditional fans this things blows! Its perfect for any bedroom even a master bedroom. I would not recommend for any room larger than that though so definitely not for a living room unless you have a very small living room space it will not cover the entire room. I give it a 9 out of 10 only because no support for 5ghz which i can see being a problem for some people and possibly even more so in the future if 2.4ghz becomes completely obsolete. Having said that I don't think 2.4 is going away anytime soon as many products still only exclusively work on that network such as ring, nest, and blink products as well.     • I had a hard time with this.
I'll start with saying the customer support was really helpful, but the product lacked some key functionality and arrived damaged. I recommend checking everything prior to getting a professional electrical guy, The IC was chipped and broke so couldn't get the RGB lights to work, but rest seems to work fine. It's fairly lightweight, decent size for the living room we have, easy to install, can adjust the speed, brightness and other settings from app, as well as use Google home to get it work with plain on/off. ... show more
