I like this food dispenser, but the groove is way to big, I have 20 gallon fish tank with 15 small fish, the amount of food dispensed with the minimum size groove was absurd, a lot of food for 15 fish, I had to vacuum the gravel to remove the excess of food, I want to note that fish do not need to eat all the days, I feed my fish day yes, day not... It is a shame this dispenser do not have that option, the longer interval I was able to set is every 24h, other than that is very good, easy setup, easy to fill the food canister and is extremely silent. To fix the groove size, I used some tape and several test to adjust the food dosage. ... show more

I am really pleased with how well this fish feeder has worked for me. It was easy to setup and attach to my tank. The storage container for the fish food is very ample and can feed my 10 fish for 12-14 days. The battery life is also sufficient to cover this time period. The feeder has the ability to be setup to feed the fish 1 to 3 times a day, with the ability to vary the amount of food that is dispensed. The feeder also has the option to be mounted on the sidewall of the tank or to the top of the tank cover. It’s working fine and doing the job. The only issue is that if your aquarium has frame on the top for closing top cover it’s not going to stay there easily and you need some modifications on your top cover . Also, the holder clip is made from poor plastic and is not that strong to keep the device(feeding machine) tight and stable so you need to be gentle with it and not putting too much pressure on when you are installing it. For the end it’s really easy to filling up but the small door that foods needs to come out from there is not that accurate so it’s ether over feeding or not enough food comes out.you need to test it before putting it on your aquarium. ... show more

I've had two auto feeders in the past. I won't name them but they are very well-known in the industry. I find them very complicated to set up. This one, however, was simple as could be. I went on a four week vacation and it worked like a charm while I was gone. I would highly recommend this feeder.
