This stool is lovely. The assembly was easy. I didn’t even need instructions. All of the holes lined up perfectly. It probably took less than 10 minutes to put together. The velvet is soft and smooth and has a sheen to it. The emerald green color is rich and the pleats along the outer edge lends a very high end and luxe appearance. The gold finish on the legs is not a bright, brassy gold, but almost more of a mustard finish. The cushion is not super thick, nor is it shallow. The legs are extremely sturdy, as they are solid metal. I sat on it immediately after assembling it, and I’m a plus sized gal and had no issues.
