The remote control is intuitive and well-made - with real and solid buttons. Reading the instructions are helpful for all the fine details, like setting miliary time. Keep the remote near the clock as it is needed. Don’t lose your instructions. Utility is high. This is a very large clock with additional utility of continuously displaying seconds. Most digital clocks no longer show seconds, which is as useful a car with no wheels. The digits are basically huge, making it ideal for training, meetings, and groups of people working on projects. It is also something that any clock watcher will appreciate as it countst down the minutes and seconds to quitting time. It works well in all modes. Value is relatively high at $57. I’ve used multiple gym clocks over the years. For the cost, this one is pretty good! It’s not as good as the ones from “Rogue”, or “Fringe”, but it’s also significantly less expensive. This is a useful gym timer that offers several approaches to helping the exerciser. I keep the directions close by as a reference to help me program the timer. The directions are better than most I have seen. I use it for HIT workouts.

Update; Three year old hid and returned cable that was thought to be missing. Once found, product worked as described and is a great addition to home gym. Numbers are bright and big enough to see across the room. Great product and service from seller when cord was thought to be lost.
