This is the right way to raise your mattress. Gadget beds just raise the top half, are very expensive and when raised you cannot sleep on your side. This has stopped my snoring, aided in proper digesting, allows me to use a normal mattress and yes, it does work with a slatted bed frame. The media could not be loaded. Bought this because I suffer from reflux and the wedge pillow I have makes my back hurt and I slide down off of it at night. I am a side and stomach sleeper and this worked great for me. No sliding down anymore and seems to help with my reflux. I wish they had the cover for the queen size because I feel it will get dirty without it. It came rolled up and vacuum sealed but as soon as I opened it it plumped up to full height. It’s good quality and did not flatten out after sleeping on it. The sizing is not perfect but pretty close. I haven’t had to adjust the mattress due to sliding yet and it’s been about a week. I bought this mainly for my boyfriend. He snores like a chainsaw, he also has issues with GERD and this really helped minimize his issues. I can finally get a decent night sleeps instead of waking up every few hours from his extremely loud snoring. The foam does not compress even under our combined 450lbs weight, plus the mattress. Since they did not have the mattress cover in stock I used an elastic waterproof mattress cover over the two separate prices (for the queen size) and it keeps them together pretty well. Unfortunately I have a platform bed and the mattress does tend to slide down a few inches every night. Every time I re adjust the wedge I feel the foam rip a little. I’m going to buy “mattress gaskets”, which will hopefully fix the issue. ... show more

I bought this for my motor home. It helps greatly with acid reflux and stuffy nose. I've been elevating my bed for years to alleviate these two conditions, usually by 3-4". This elevates to 5", not a big change but is noticeable. I think 7" would have been too much so I'm glad I got this one. Let me start by saying I was hesitant to buy this product because of some of the reviews. Hearing that I could possibly receive a defective product and be left having to deal what would likely be a nightmare to return, didn't really inspire a lot of confidence. But I clicked the buy button anyway and I'm glad I did! The product arrives in two pieces, tightly rolled up, and put in a box. I'll admit, I was worried when I opened the box and rolled the pads out and noticed how different in shape they were to each other... it really did look like I was given two different sizes. But, knowing how finnicky memory foam can be, I took them outside and let them lay out in the sun for a few hours. It wasn't very warm outside, but I imagine the higher the temperature is, the quicker the foam will gain its proper shape. Unfortunately, with the foam being white, it won't absorb the light from the sun and heat up on it's own. A few hours later I went to check on them and they had fully gained their shape. I placed them on my box spring and threw my mattress on top. I was half-expecting the foam to give when I got on the bed, but it didn't even seem to give at all. Just to put things into perspective, my mattress is not light. It's a hybrid mattress with springs and memory foam and it's very thick. I am also not very light as I weight 280 pounds. These pieces of foam can hold some weight! So why did I purchase this? I got tired of feeling all stuffy and unable to breathe through my nose every night when I laid down because blood flow to the upper part of my body increases. I've also been told that I sometimes snore and thought this might help that. It took a little getting used to, but this product has made a big improvement. One important thing you may want to consider is how firm your bed is you're going to go for the 7". While I don't personally have issues with sliding down my bed, I could see that it may be a possibility with a firmer mattress. One other quick thing to note is that I did not purchase the cover and my mattress doesn't try to slide off the foam. ... show more

I gave this foam wedge five stars, and it deserves that accolate, especially since it fluffed up to the full height overnight, BUT...when my twelve inch foam-only full mattress is on the wedge, it becomes a 3" foam wedge which is high enough to help me with my health issue as it turns out. Just don't expect it to stay a full 5" when your mattress on on it. I highly recommend this product as long as you realize you may have to think of it as an inch or so shorter when installed under the weight of your mattress. The foam wedges are nice but the cover which adds nearly another $40 to the price are incredibly cheap, too tight, and poorly made. I’m afraid that if I take them on/off a few times they’ll tear. Really not cool.
