  • A must have for the LS engine.
The Angry Mechanic sez, Great tool to have, I used to criss cross a chain from one cylinder head to the other, but No More. This lifting plate fits and works well, and it can be used to move short blocks and bare blocks. It's identical to the Ad picures with the bolts included. Highly recommend.

  • Good hardware
This will definitely get the job done. Both pieces of steel seem to be thick enough for lifting an engine, I think. They are marketing this as a premium product and based on that, there are some shortfalls. The welds on this are rough. The powder coating isn’t too much better—I have small build of flux and the powder coating on this. Mine also came nicked where some of the powder coating come off—not a huge deal I guess but disappointing. It does still get the job done so I’m comfortable four starring this one. ... show more
