  • Rebuild? Don't have the deepest pockets? Here you go
Style: Normal Size: 3/8 Ton (750 lb) Color: Red
Great price great stand held my 350 on a rebuild with no issues. If looking for a high quality but cheaper engine stand this one is for you .

  • Good Product
Style: Normal Size: 3/8 Ton (750 lb) Color: Red
This worked very well. Good price. A little awkward to assemble, would be nice if it used a cotter pin or something for ease of assembly and easy storage.

  • Supports a 2JZ
Style: with Tray Size: 5/8 Ton (1,250 lb) Color: Red
When the package came it was damaged as you can see by the photos. Luckily there were no missing or damaged parts when I opened it to inspect. One end of the box practically fell off when I opened it. Assembly went pretty easily but the hardware they supply is pretty low grade. The bolts/nuts are a Grade 5/Class 8.8 which is not a really strong structural fastener. If you really need this thing to support anywhere near the 5/8 Ton (1,250 lbs) rating I would upgrade these to Grade 8/Class 10.9 bolts/nuts. Also they only supply enough washers to go on the nut side when assembling. I prefer to have washers on both the bolt head side and also the nut side when using through bolts so I ended up running to the hardware store to purchase these. The tray that is supplied is useful but it doesnt lock to one side or the other it kind of just pivots and moves around as it pleases. Its also not held on by anything it just sits on a metal pin. As far as this supporting the claimed weight it did support my 2JZGTE long block while I disassembled it. My guess on the long block weight is about 600lbs. It was to heavy for my 750 lbs rated engine stand which is why I purchased this one. It easily supports my engine with little issues. Not sure if I would bolt a motor that weights close to 1,250 lbs on it though. Overall it works and is decent for the price. I will probably change out the casters to locking casters so that it doesnt want to move around when I'm trying to torque or remove bolts. ... show more

  • EXPECTATIONS EXCEEDED
Style: Foldable Size: 3/4 Ton (1,500 lbs) Color: Blue
I have had other engine stands in the past and this blue BIG RED AT26801UR Torin may be the best one of the bunch, exceeding my wary expectations. First, the packaging was robust enough to withstand even the roughest shipper. No missing parts - no extra parts. The finish on the stand was quite nice, with no noticeable marks. Assembly was easily straight forward. I barely had to glance at the printed instructions. As someone else pointed out - if you can assemble an engine you can assemble this stand. I was looking for some added stability from this stand and it delivered. The front cross member is wide enough for that extra stability plus the fifth/center wheel really helps. When no engine is attached the folding mechanism is a welcome feature. I got lucky with a 30% discount on the blue unit making it a great value. Unless the unit completely falls apart when I install the first engine - this purchase adds up to a great piece of hardware for my shop. ... show more

  • perfect size for a 4cyl or small V6
Style: Normal Size: 3/8 Ton (750 lb) Color: Black
i think i'd be a little hesitant to hang a V8 on this, even though it's rated for 750lbs. regardless, this is a great engine stand for the price, especially if you're using it for a little four banger Honda.

  • This deserves a negative 5star rating for managing to be the biggest piece of crap I have ever payed my hard earned money for
Style: Normal Size: 3/8 Ton (750 lb) Color: Red
I really wish I could give this a negative rating. This deserves a negative 5star rating for managing to be the biggest piece of crap I have ever payed my hard earned money for. Unfortunately one star is the lowest I could do. I read the one star reviews before buying this, but also read the 5 stars. I decided to buy it since after buying my motor I didn't have too much cash left, and I weld so I could reinforce it if needed.. BIG MISTAKE. So I lower my motor using an electric winch and a pulley low enough to bolt it on. I get is all bolted up and go to push it on a freshly swept, level, concrete floor in my garage. It moved about 1 inch, then BAM, front wheel snaps right off! The engine I bought two days before fell right over. Caused over $100 in damage destroying the cast aluminum mount that holds the alternator. This is a 302 that weighs about 450lbs. Way less than the 750lb rating. So I winched the engine back up and welded a 1-1/2" 1/8" thick square tube bar onto it with two wheels in the front instead of one. The metal this is made out of is the cheapest I have ever seen. That says a lot since I weld cheap things that people break on a regular basis. When welding this together I burned right through the metal this is made of like cheap plastic. The regular mild steel of the same thickness but smaller diameter from the steel yard was heavier and noticeably a higher quality. I didn't know any company could produce such a piece of crap and then actually sell it. The 750lb rating on this is the biggest lie of any item I have ever bought from any site. This is also the first 1 star review I have ever done. I will never buy anything from this company again. ... show more
