Cool idea. Love the concept. I was shocked at the material and light weight. I expected it to be really firmly built and sturdy. Subscription is not expensive, that’s nice. Transferring the tracking info to the box is easy. Gmail user: just like from the app and it auto pulls the delivery info if you allow that access. Not Gmail user, once you get the tracking info email, you can press and hold the tracking number from the email, and click “share”. Easy as that to track! The box will automatically create an “unlock code” from the last 4 of the tracking number. Box comes with a magnet with instructions for the mail carrier. There is a temp monitor viewable from the app… you can set up push notifications to monitor the temp, deliveries, tamper alarm, and also anytime a code is used or box is opened! Expensive? Yessss but it is very cool, safe, and secure. LOVE IT - oh also comes with a 30 day trial subscription. Customer Service is also GREAT. Kind, polite, and helpful. ... show more

I live in a high theft area where people drive by or walk pass your home and take your packages. The box adds a secure way to keep packages safe. The only problem is locking and unloading the box is not easy for ups and Amazon folk and they leave packages on top of box versus in box. Need better system for locking or a video to help with showing various ways to work the app to help with locking. ... show more

After experiencing a package theft, it was time for a secure delivery box-after intense reviews of many options this Loxx Boxx checked every box and more. Thankfully a neighbor had a rotary hammer ( took 5 mins for the 4 holes and very easy).     • It’s a metal box with poorly thought out features

Kudos to the team for coming up with a great idea. Unfortunately, extremely bad execution. The metal box is just that, a metal box. It is a decent gage, but just not thought out well. It’s supposed to sit outside in the elements, but the seams and joints are not 100% sealed. The top doesn’t have a good soft close and the lock requires a sturdy smack to make sure it is latched. The bottom of the box has four plastic buttons in the corners, presumably to prevent scratching and help with leveling, I guess, but they about 2mm thick and generally worthless. There is no option to level the corners via screw legs, so if your ground isn’t level, you’ll need shims of some sort. The locking mechanism and accompanying app are wet garbage. To start, the lock needs a charge. That’s actually a great idea because it doesn’t need a plug, but the bad idea is that in order to charge the lock, the box needs to be open. So, it’s out of commission for a few hours while it’s charging. No option to have it charging while it’s closed and in use. That screams design flaw. Next, the buttons and input light up, but good luck figuring out the differences between green and yellow lights. Oh and sometimes blue blinks for some reason when you are trying to enter numbers. When using the Bluetooth connect, you need to push the button on the box for the Bluetooth to connect to your phone. Every time. As best as I can tell, this is the only way to check the battery life. Additionally, the battery on my lock says it’s needs a recharge, even after a hours of charging. Solid. And of course, there is a subscription. Yeah, yeah, that old thing. It’s a joke. Almost as blatant a cash grab than a monthly heated seat subscription. But, it’s there. But what exactly is the subscription here? Tell me, because I honestly don’t know. I think it’s for the ability to create one time use entry codes and to see the battery life. If that’s the case, what is the point of this thing? It’s no different than a box, with a lock. So here’s my favorite part - no carrier actually cares to take the time to use the box. Have had it for a month and there has been … drum roll … zero attempts to use it. That’s not the manufacturer’s fault, but just something to think about. I’ve also purchased signs and stuck them all over my entryway, but the carriers don’t care. I live in a large city, maybe it’s different in the suburbs. Long story short, it’s a box with a smart lock. The box is poorly constructed and the smart lock didn’t graduate. But, at least there’s a monthly subscription to keep you warm at night. I would not buy this again. I’m also canceling my subscription after the free trial runs out. ... show more

Awesome customer service! Great product. Little kinks needed to be worked out. No way of knowing a little issue with the panel would happen. The company was beyond awesome working through it. That right there makes me a loyal customer and I always want to support a small businesses.

    • Update: Frustrating but company making it right

Update 10/18/2024 Still using, finally have the delivery folks trained to use it. But does have issues with charging. Update 7/12: The company is sending me next generation keypad. Will update if it works. I wanted so hard to like this product. The first one lasted two weeks and the entire lid fell off. Customer service was awesome and sent a Replacement immediately. The replacement had a huge dent in the lid. I decided to keep it because I just didn't have time to deal with it. And unfortunately being fighting with it daily. Most times won't connect to Wifi and when it does it drops after a few hours. (And i know its not me, Im tech savy and have had others try this for me to check my sanity with my struggles.) Therefore none of my entries get processed so my packages end up getting dropped next to the box. Would not purchase this product again. ... show more

I haven’t really had any issues when the carrier uses it. The problem is that about 90% of Amazon drivers (majority of my deliveries) either put the packages on the box or completely ignore the box altogether. This is no fault on loxx boxx but I hope they work with Amazon to get it added to key delivery. You also have to manually add a code for each delivery (because who wants someone from the carrier having a pin they can use anytime?). Bare minimum, I hope an update comes that allows you to link your accounts so a code can be generated automatically. ... show more
