My original had a corroded sleeve which caused it to not power on. This seemed correct, so I ordered it. This is a sufficient replacement, however I questioned that fact due to the 3rd yellow wire...the description does not mention 3 wires. It is listed as 2 wire, and there is no instructions or explanation in the package. Based on my reading it is a "wake up wire" and is fine left unused. If you don't need two channels of NMEA 0183 this cable will greatly improve the wire mess under most helms. Who needs that unused additional cable zip tied into a loop under the dash.
