Have a 3 series BMW with a larger intercooler. This makes it not impossible, but pretty difficult, to get a low profile extended reach jack to the center lift point. These give the extra couple of inches needed to be able to easily position the jack and get the car up in the air and on the stands. Dont think you would be able to do much actual work under most cars with these ramps, MAYBE reach the engine oil drain plug, but super useful for low cars. ... show more

I bought a 2024 Subaru Impreza. It has a pretty low ground clearance. My garage jack would not fit far enough under the front end to reach the front center jacking point. These ramps raise the car more than enough for me to get the jack under the car and aligned to reach that jacking point. I want to change my oil and rotate my tires. I could do it from the side jacking points, but jacking from the front center point just eliminates some monkey motion. These ramps are fine. I drove on them blind and I could easily feel where I was on the ramp. I had some old metal ramps that I bought about 50 years ago that would not be useable on this low car. Don't expect to get under anything with these unless you already have an unusually high clearance in which case you wouldn't need them probably anyway.

Literally can’t imagine my life without these now. I have 4 of them for my s2000 and other lowered cars. I just use these to drive on before I use a jack to lift the car. Well worth the money to never need small pieces of wood that go flying when you drive onto them! IYKYk
