Building a deck, these rails are easy to assemble and install. Very well made and attractive. My only suggestion would be to buy heavier duty screws to attach, I used timber screws.

These are nice and sturdy. Installation is straightforward and easy. All you need is your drill. They come with the drill bits and stuff to install. One of my hand rails did arrive damaged. The plastic caps were broken in the box.

I built my own landing and steps entering into the garage and instead of wood railings I purchased a set of 2 of these metal railings. These are quite substantial and probably too much railing for the size of the landing, but it's mostly so my parents will have ease coming into my house. As a female I found these a bit difficult to install as you have to make sure it's at the exact angle you need and then you are drilling the self tapping screws through metal. I ended up accomplishing it but the force you need to get them through was difficult for me anyway. There are 4 huge bolts for each post when you attach it to wood and again is a bit difficult to drill it straight in because there just isn't enough clearance to fit your drill perfectly straight up and down. im personally not super excited about them. but i think others will love them. they are strong metal, SUPER easy to install (with the right tools)&even easier to put together(couple minutes). but i personally feel like it makes the steps look like a hospital entrance. like.. "commercial" steps. i was looking for classic, home style. im going to replace the top rail with a wood rail(husbands idea, because he agrees that the "look" isn't right) &see if that warms it up some. but it's exactly like photos. &if your drilling holes into concrete/ cement steps i highly recommend using a SDS hammer drill with SDS masonry drill/bits. takes 3seconds for one hole..verses 5 min with a regular masonry bit(used my good, RIGID impact driver...took FOREVER) evn my plug in took forever! just wore my bits down. but if u like how these look, highly recommend. not made cheaply. ... show more

The individual pieces of metal used in their product are well fabricated and have good fit and design. However, the hardware and some Of the tools they sent are of very poor quality Specifically The sleeve anchor bolts are very low quality in my opinion. Suggest getting red heads or another brand and anchor instead The nuts provided for the sleeve anchors are neither metric or standard sizes I tried every combination of sockets and wrenches and nothing would fit the nuts as they should have. The nuts are also made out of very soft metal and are easily rounded off or cross threaded The little wrenches didn’t fit the nuts either and they were basically useless as they would only slip and come off the nut when I tried to use them The sheet metal screws worked ok but seemed to very easily strip out if tightened with an electric drill or impact driver On a positive note the Phillips head bits were magnetic and worked fine Lag bolts were provided for wood installation but I did not have a use for them in brick and concrete Still all in all a good product ... show more

I bought these on Amazon. They arrived quickly. I installed them the next day. They were easy with a hammer drill to drill the holes in concrete(drill bit was included). They are very sturdy. I really like them. I would buy them again. The price was great for 2 hand rail and all the hardware need to install. I had a small problem wit 2 encaps messed up. I emailed them with pictures and my info. Quickly received new end caps. Support was very good. ... show more
