    • Be careful to make sure this fits well
Did the job, but didn’t stay well for a 2016 Prius. You’ll want to look at how wide the lip is between the top and door of your car where this product snaps in. If it’s too wide, it’s going to lead to problems, or may not work at all.

This is a great buy. It looks awesome on my 1at gen xB. It has a low profile look, that looks better on a lowered car, in my opinion. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it was a pain in the butt to install. I am mechanically inclined and I had a hard time installing it in a reasonable amount of time. I also had to modify the brackets for good fit. If you have good help, it can save you some time. Instructions are not bad, but can use some improvement. ... show more

    • Not universal!
We installed this kit on a 2013 Ford Focus hatchback and tried every connection possible but it never fit snug. We tested it but it fell off and damaged the whole setup including the kayak. If it doesn’t fit perfect then remove it and send it back. Don’t make the same mistake we did!
