  • IMPORTANT! - This blind is 39.5" wide to allow for mounting the blind inside a 40" wide window. If you plan to mount this blind on the outside of the window frame add the desired width for coverage, plus 1/2". The Lotus 1 Inch Vinyl Mini Blind has been designed for a wide variety of window sizes and styles. Sizes stated within the product descriptions are listed by width then height. See measuring instructions to ensure best fit.
  • EASY MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS: To determine width measure your window horizontally in three places from outside edge to edge of the window frame: top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. For best fit, find the size with a width closest to your measurement. The size you order will come with a 1/2-inch deduction to ensure it fits in your windowsill properly. The height will be the longest measurement from top to bottom and will be the size to order.
  • CORDLESS DESIGN: The new child safe design eliminates the need for cords and makes raising and lowering the blind a breeze. This blind features cordless operation, a lift system that allows you to raise or lower it with just a touch.
  • INSIDE & OUTSIDE MOUNT: This blind is suitable for inside and outside mounting of a window frame. Inside mount means completely installing the blind inside the window frame. The window frame needs to be at least 2 inches deep to install as a partial inside mount.
  • DURABLE MATERIALS: The 1 Inch Cordless Vinyl Mini Blind is made of durable materials and features light filtering PVC slats to provide privacy, block out light and add style to your home decor. A blind longer than your recorded measurement will work as the blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame.

42" blinds are kind of hard to find. I am very happy to have found these. They were easy to install, and the brackets seem to be very strong. The blinds look great and are SO easy to pull up and down. Such a great improvement over the ones with the 3 strings that had to all be pulled at the same time. I would give this product 5 stars if no for the mechanism to adjust the slats seemed sub par and concerns me about the longevity of it working. It could be that it was my item having a fault that would not be a common issue. Otherwise it was exactly as described and I’m happy with it.

This was a replacement for 1" metal blinds. Standard mini-blinds weren't available for a couple of months, so I wasn't sure the quality I would get once I ordered. I wanted to replace our very strong, good metal blinds that were beginning to not work properly, chose these as friends said they buy vinyl ones instead of the metal. We are extremely disappointed and very unhappy. We replaced 8 window blinds with these. They have not even lasted 4 months and are falling apart. The strings easily cut through the vinyl slats and begin to "tear" it. Then if you want to "peek thru a slat to look outside...LOOK OUT...the slats break! We've had 4 now that have broken slats. IF you get one slight tiny bend in a slat...they break and fall off. We are on tight retirement income & wasted $500! HORRIBLE blinds. DO NOT BUY THEM. THEY WILL NOT LAST YOU VERY LONG. Not fair to customers and especially like us, we can't afford to replace with better ones now as we've lost all this money. ***UPDATE*** After speaking with customer support from Lotus, I must say they are very kind and are standing by their products. He said they should not be breaking like they are and they are going to replace all of our blinds. So, I will say, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY GOOD. ... show more

Received these today installed solo in around 10 minutes. I had not used this type of mounting hardware before (I'm used to the side version) but it was fine and the "click in style" actually hides the hardware once you snap the blinds in. It's somewhat a two-step where you push the back in and up then pull the front over the latch and locks it in vertically. Cordless mechanism also works fine, no issues. I think the price was fair and I myself am happy with the look. I'll be buying this brand again for other windows. ... show more

I had previously ordered a three sets of blinds just like these from Amazon (different manufacturer) and once installed we’re almost impossible to pull down , they would pop off the brackets and hit you in the head every time you tried. I returned them with no problems from Amazon and purchased these. These blinds are very easy to install basic no-frills but work perfectly if you’re looking for an inexpensive clean blind this is definitely a good purchase. ... show more
