  • WIDTH & LENGTH: For the width measure your window horizontally in three places from outside edge to edge of the window frame: top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. For best fit, find the size with a width closest to your measurement. The size you order will come with a 1/2-inch deduction to ensure it fits in your windowsill properly. The height will be the longest measurement from top to bottom and will be the size to order.
  • INSIDE & OUTSIDE MOUNT: This blind can be mounted inside and outside of a window frame. Inside mount means completely installing the blind inside the window frame. The window frame needs to be at least 2 inches deep to install as a partial inside mount. For an outside mount add at least 1/2-inch or more to your measurement to ensure coverage of the desired area. A blind longer than your recorded measurement will work as the blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame.

These blinds are perfect. They look great and are very sturdy. There is one thing that could be improved and that's if the snap on valance would wrap around to cover the brackets but it's not a deal breaker. I had one minor issue though, one of the tilt wands was broken when we received it but I contacted the company by phone and the customer service was wonderful. Shipped me a new wand right away.     • An expensive option when I had no other option

I redid my kitchen which has several windows that had blinds similar to this type except they were corded. I really wanted shades but i have a bay window that has 15" wide flank windows and I could not find any reasonable shades I like that were that narrow (I think it's because that miniature of a width doesn't have room for the cordless lower/raise feature mechanism). So I decided to just go with blinds again. So trips to Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart and Target all yielded the same results: Since they only sold cordless blinds there were no options that narrow. Even the "custom cut" blinds couldn't go down to 15". Again, I think it's because of the "no-cord" mechanism. So I searched on Amazon and they did indeed have these blinds in that size (and with "no-cords") so I purchased a pair of them and matching ones for the other two windows in the room (in case the colors or other look of the blinds were slightly different than the ones i could purchase locally). They were from 25-60% more costly than the local available choices but I didn't really have a choice. I received them; they were easy to install since I already had brackets from previous blinds (even though they were too small and had to be swapped out for the new brackets but one set of holes from the previous brackets lined up perfectly). Instructions were pretty poor..almost no text and very small sketches. Not a huge problem except for the valence. The instructions mentioned two "optional" items...the tie down bracket that you can attach to the bottom of the blind to keep it on the window and the corner pieces that go on the valence to cover the ends of the brackets if you are doing an "outside" mount. The tie down brackets were included but strangely the valence ends were not and I haven't been able to locate a place to purchase them. Every other blind I've ever bought over the years had these cheap items thrown in; not sure why this manufacturing chooses not to (especially since they mention them in the instructions). They weren't omitted by mistake unless all four blinds I purchased lost the valence end bracket lottery. The other annoyance is that there were no instructions on how to shorten the blinds to custom-fit your window like I'm used to; I'll have to do some research online to see if that is even possible with their design. So overall, an OK blind that is nothing really special but is available in widths I couldn't find elsewhere. If you threw in clearer instructions and the end brackets and cut the price a bit, it would be a better buy. Look elsewhere for cheaper comparable blinds unless, like me, your window width gives you no choice ... show more

Great especially for the price! Very easy to install. Knocked one star off because of the screws they came with.. the head of the screw sticks out too far that I wasnโ€™t able to fit it in the bracket. I had to hammer one of the sides in to get it past the screws. But it was easy to do and you canโ€™t tell at all since a cover goes over the top part! ... show more

Due to small width these blinds DO NOT MOVE UP OR DOWN - THEY ONLY TILT. *DONโ€™T FORGET TO REMOVE CARDBOARD INSIDE METAL HEADRAIL (Top part) the blinds come bound up by the cords inside the headrail, once you carefully unwind them from the cardboard the blinds will open up to their full length. I really love these blinds, great quality, very sturdy, and they fit my window perfectly! They arrived very well packaged and were in perfect condition. They did take several months to arrive due to being out of stock, but that's happening everywhere these days so understandable. They were definitely worth the wait! They were very easy to install and instructions were easy to follow. My window width is exactly 30" wide and they fit perfectly. I chose to mount them from the top corners of the window. They aligned nice and straight in the window and operate smoothly when opening and closing. (You may notice some extra slats at the bottom. That was my choice to get the standard out-of-the-box cut, they will custom cut to fit your window length exactly if requested. I don't mind the extra slats, it works just fine.) They feel very sturdy and are a nice quality, with a good weight. The slats are a good thickness. And they look beautiful! I took one star off of my rating because the blinds are supposed to be white, but they are really a light tan or ivory color. The box says they are white, and the picture on the box looks white, but the blinds themselves are clearly not (see my second pic, compare color of blinds to the white moulding around the window.) This was not a huge issue for me because I don't mind the color, but others might be unhappy if they really want white blinds. Other than the color issue, these are awesome blinds and I highly recommend! ... show more
