These curtains are really nice quality. They arrived very wrinkled, but I put a wet bath towel in the dryer with them one by one, and the wrinkles came out as you can see from the pictures. I knew when I ordered white that they would not completely block the light, but they do a good job of making the room a lot darker. The backing is not black, which I wanted because when I wash them I won’t be worried about them looking gray after. The textured linen material makes them look like expensive curtains. Bought these for the family/movie room. They looked great right out of the package, and block light well during the day for movie night in the summer evenings. They also afford unlimited privacy as they are not sheer. I bought others at a local brick and mortar and returned them, as they were sleeved (which makes it more difficult to open and close) and they were not light blocking. They were also the same price. We returned them and bought these. The ring design, vs. sleeve is very nice, and the rings are bronze colored and solid, not the cheap aluminum/tin silver rings on most. They slide across the 1 inch curtain rod with ease. The drapes are heavy though, and I had to reinforce the curtain rod with a middle brace to hold them up. These curtains have a much nicer look and fabric than many other blackout curtains- probably because they do not blackout light! My curtains did not arrive terribly wrinkled as other reviewers noted. Size is perfect and quality is great but will probably end up returning as they let in so much light. I have sheer curtains behind these which filter a tiny bit of light and these photos were taken in mid-afternoon- not in the morning when the sun rises straight at this window. Package they arrived in said 90% light blocking I’d say more like 70%. ... show more

-I ordered the TAN, 50 x 108" length. We have a main static picture window flanked by two operational windows. I like that I can separate the curtains if I just want to have one window open. -I love the MATERIAL-great weight and soft. They have some lighter silk looking threads running through, which gives the curtain some dimension-again adding to the natural look and feel. I am not a fan of the linen look alike that have the repeated criss-cross hatch pattern, or that have brown threads, which I guess are supposed to make them look. These curtains have a very natural, non-synthetic material, appearance. -Description says BACKING is grey white, but looks more white to me, and it is a separate liner, not fused. The packaging said 90% light blocking and that seems to be right-difficult to tell the difference from 100% blackout, except they give the room a nice non cave like feeling. I ordered 3 different curtains of this type b/c it's hard to buy textiles online....colors don't look the ssme in person, it's hard to match things,.etc. This pair was a little more expensive than the others but I think it's the one I will keep. Seems well made, a bit heavy, has a lining wheres the others don't. The colors and texture are not well represented in the Amazon image. In person this is is a tweedy fabric with dark blue and lighter blue & white in it. The light blue matches the Benjamin Moore "Windmill Wings" color that I painted on the walls, which makes it a good choice for me. ... show more

I like these curtains a lot. They look good and I like the soft fabric. But they are not complete blackout curtains. Would’ve given them a 5 if they weren’t advertised as blackout. They are mostly dark though.
