Using this product for scratchboard art. All it has to penetrate is a layer of ink, not even human skin, and it is a little too flexible to maintain the desired pressure. Probably will try a different brand next time.

Just got this kit in a few days ago and so far so good. Did a little bit of practice on an orange and some research before I got started (best way to hold needle, how deep to go, how to prep skin, etc). Pictured is a spider I did on my ankle. I did several passes and am happy with the thickness of the lines. Needles appear high quality and I didn’t have any issues with the ink, however this isn’t totally healed yet so we’ll see. So far so good! The only thing that didn’t work out was I received dried out shaving cream in the packages with razors, but I have shaving cream at home so it wasn’t much of an issue. ... show more

This has everything you need! Th only other issue was that the gloves don't fit my dainty small lady hands, but other than that - really good kit with online video instructions!
