I have a dog on cage rest/bed rest for the next few months, and with some medication that makes him a bit incontinent. I thought that I was going to burn through a fortune on disposable pads, until I tried these reusable pads. First off, my dog is happier with these than with disposable pads, 5 stars. I had both this and a disposable pad set up in his cage, with the reusable pad under his chest. However, he would get up and turn until he could sit on the reusable pad. He was not having a great time laying on the disposable pads, but once those were swapped out for these - he's been a lot happier. Second, they're insanely absorbent and pretty leak proof. They might leak if a dog pees closer to the edge of the mat, but if they pee in the middle, then it absorbs everything pretty well. They're actually absorbent enough that sometimes it's hard to tell if the dog has urinated or not. Third, they're super easy to clean. You just throw them in the washer on hand wash, pull them out when they're done, and let them air dry (which they're already mostly dried from the spin cycle and fabric they're made with.) Fourth, they're fairly slip resistant - which is great for a dog recovering from an injury. He feels a lot more confident standing or sitting on these than on a potentially slick/slippery disposable pad. ... show more

I don't use this as a pee pad or splat mat for a child. I used it to cover the carpeting around my dog's crate so the carpet doesn't get dirty. She knows not to pee on it. I used carpet tape to hold the edges down and so far, so good. I can walk on it, she can play on it and it stays put. I have a second one next to it that isn't taped down yet, so it frequently gets bunched up and needs to be straightened out. I haven't yet tried to vacuum it, so I don't know if it can easily be vacuumed. Don't want to have to remove it to wash it and re-tape it down. ... show more

I wish I had bought these first instead of wasting money on disposable pee pads. These are perfect! They stay laying flat as they aren't easy for the pup to pull and bunch up. They absorb great. They make cleaning my puppy's litter box a snap. If any spills I can simply fold the pad over and dump it outside prior to washing. I didn't buy these at first because I thought they were a little expensive and didn't want to waste money. It was well worth the money! Just buy them and be done with it! ... show more

It’s big enough, my toy poodle has no problem, never has accidents. I ordered 2 times, bought 4 of them, then I can change it so easily, since after washing, it can’t be put in the dryer, has to be dried flat.

You can use them to wipe their feet off when they come in from the rain you can use them as P pads you can use them as barriers in their kennels. You can use them for anything. These are great to have an all sizes.
