    • Excellent Toxic-Chemical-Free Product
Due to some health issues and nail damage incurred from a one-time acrylic nail manicure, I was having chronic problems with peeling/splitting nails that were not responding to any "treatments" (products that claimed to eliminate these problems with regular usage/application). I could not grow my nails at all as they were so weak and damaged that they were constantly tearing and breaking . After doing some research on Amazon, I found these Londontown nail colors, base coat, and top coat, and decided to give it a try. The price tag is hefty for nail color, but I was desperate as my hands were an unsightly mess! This may sound over-the-top, but these products have literally transformed my nails. I have been using the products exclusively for 2 months now; however, I began to see significant results in about 4 weeks. My nails are now strong, and have stopped peeling, splitting, and breaking. No doubt, all the toxic chemicals (like formaldehyde, etc...) in standard polishes were damaging my nails. As an added bonus, the polish goes on nicely, and wears well. Of course, I find that lighter shades show less wear and look better for multiple days (I cook, wash dishes, garden, etc...). My go-to color for everyday is The Full Monty, but I have slowly been adding other colors to my Londontown collection (just ordered 2 different reds for fall/winter). As stated earlier, these products are pricey, but they deliver, as promised, especially if you have problems tolerating the average chemical cocktail polishes available in the drug-store.     • Disappointed for the first time
Color: Buckingham Blue Size: 0.4 Ounce
Normally I love Londontown nail colour but the polish I received on Monday was supposed to be a medium grey colour but the colour I received was a light BROWN, NOT GREY. I am very disappointed. The brown is ok but I wanted grey!. I had trouble with another recent order too. I ordered cat nail covers and Amazon said I received them but I did not. I had hoped that after I complained Amazon would fix the problem but they did not. I order 2-4 items per week and I had hoped they would take better care of me. ... show more

The polish has been on 8 days now and still looks good. There is one small nick that probably only I can see. However, the color doesn't look like the picture at all. It is really a smoky, dusty graying lilac. There is hardly any pink in it. It is not a color I would have chosen for my skin tone. The Princess Awaits nail colour is a very pretty pale, very pale pink. Nearly white. From the photo I was expecting a pale pink slightly glittery colour. What I received is pinkish, nearly white and iridescent. I'm not a fan of iridescent nail colour. As I say, pretty but not what I thought I was buying. Not sure how it wears yet. ... show more
