I originally ordered the 2x (wear 16 - 18) but like some room, especially over thick clothes. I had to exchange for a 1x. The 1x fits perfectly. This is a really nice coat, warm but lightweight. Good length and zipper pockets, removable hood and fur collar. Not too puffy and compacts nicely for such a large coat. I took off 1 star because it does not have an inner pocket, does not have a 2 way zipper, the waist does not have an adjustment, and no back split. For as much as this coat costs, those thing should have been included. ... show more

I love this coat. It is longer so it goes to just above the knee. It has several features that help keep out the cold, like stretchy cuffs inside the sleeves. I bought this coat to wear at the school bus stop with my grandson. I read the reviews before I bought it and there are a few criticisms that are valid but definitely not deal breakers. The fur around the collar is wonderful! You have to sew it in place because the buttons holding it come undone but it’s an easy fix. I use the snaps in the front not the zipper, because of the way the coat is designed; it is still very airtight and it is easily put on or taken off. This coat makes every single day more warm and more fun. This is a serious winter coat but can be adjusted for variations in weather. Love this coat! This coat is so freaking warm and comfy like a down comforter hugging you. No wind passes through this thing and it is so well made and worth the price. I am 5'3" and wear a large so I ordered a 2XL because I wanted it to be roomy enough to wear a sweater with it and be comfortable in Chicago's very cold winters. It is exactly what I got. I could have ordered a 1XL and still have enough room for my bulky sweaters but decided not to return it. The length is a bit long and fits me mid calf but I wanted it long anyway so I am very happy with this purchase. I don't understand all the negative comments. I love this coat! It's beauftiful, light weight, very warm and fits perfectly!! Unfortunately, it's not well made, which is the reason why I can't give it 5 stars. The stuffing pokes out of the seams. I might have been willing to overlook the problem IF there were only 1 seam, however, there are several areas of the coat that have this problem.
