So I have owned several of these and I have to say this is the first one that came charged out of the box and is extremely detailed in its use and how to use. I got this for my 18yr old for college and she was able to walk me through how to use if she was to encounter a dead battery. Being over an hour away this gives me piece of mind. Great product. I have owned maybe 5 or 6 of these Jump Starters and they all seem to last only so long in the heat of a car. I picked this one for the LifePo4 battery type and hoping it lasts longer based on my other lifepo4 battery experience. The readout is an added bonus and its great showing you voltage and also amps coming is as its charging. It's a little bigger in size than my previous models but not that much and well worth it if it lasts longer. Very happy with my purchase. Forgot to mention only drawback is it does not come with a case or bag. ... show more

Jump-Starter worked right out of the box. very nice unit. Battery died on me and car was stranded at home. I decided to buy this for any future issues. Came over 75% charged and started my car with a dead battery right up no issues. Charged up with a 15 watt USBC power adapter in no time. Super nice setup. Came with extra USBA and USB cables along with a cig adapter for car charging. Nice case and connector quality. doesn't feel cheap. I'm surprised most people want to use Lithium ion and this was the only Lifepo4 battery Jump starter. Lifepo4 is the future. This is a very high quality LifePO4 charger. It had no problem jumping my tractor and am certain it will help most vehicles in a pinch. The quality and feel of this product is top notch. If it had come with a case I would have given it five stars no problem.

    • Jump starter with a LiFePO4 battery (12.8V 4Ah). It's safer and may have a longer life than a Li-Po.
There are many jump starters on the market today. What's different with this product is that the built-in lithium battery is the LiFePO4 type, rather than the more common Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) or Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) batteries. WHAT IS A "LiFePO4" BATTERY In short, LiFePO4 ("Lithium Iron Phosphate" battery, aka LFP battery) has an advantage of being much more stable (unlikely to catch fire, even if damaged in an accident), than most other types of lithium batteries. Another advantage is that it tends to last longer (having a greater number of charge-discharge cycles) than the other lithiums, with everything else being equal. The main disadvantage of LiFePO4 is that it tends to be larger and heavier for the same capacity. (The Li-PO batteries are particularly compact and light, which is why they are used to power drones.) This particular jump starter weighs ~2 lbs, or 3 lbs including the alligator clips and cable that comes with it. I don't think a bit of an extra weight should be a practical concern for jump starters, so I think use of LiFePO4 offers net benefit in this case. HOW DOES IT WORK? As far as functionality, it works just like the other jump starters I have used in the past. It has a large and clear digital display that shows the battery voltage, and it is very easy to use. The built-in computer safeguards you against misuse; it lets you start the car only when it is connected in the right polarity. FORCE START MODE In case your car battery is totally depleted, the jump starter would not be able to tell for sure that the connection is correct. So the safety feature will stop you from starting your car. In this case, you will need to override the safety feature, and use the "Force Start" mode. (Turn on the jump starter by pressing the ON/OFF button as usual. Then, hold down the On/Off button and the flashlight button together for 3 seconds. By the way, you might want to write this down and tape it on the jump starter as a reminder, like I did.) At this point, the internal battery is allowed to make an electrical connection to the depleted car battery, and you should now be able to try to start your engine. OTHER FEATURES AND USES As I just mentioned, it also has a built-in bright flashlight. To charge the jump starter at home, probably most people, like me, will just charge it via the USB-C port, although there are other options, such as use of a cigarette lighter plug. The jump starter does not come with a cigarette lighter socket, so you would NOT be able to use this jump starter to power a tire inflator (which is a feature that some jump starters offer). But if you really want to use a tire inflator with this jump starter, you could easily build your own adapter cable to do so, if you are handy. (You will need an EC-8 (female) connector and a standard cigarette lighter socket (female).) CONCLUSION My car didn't need a jump start, but I tested the unit anyway by connecting it to my car. And everything worked as expected. I feel safer having this jump starter in my car this winter - just in case. Overall I am very pleased with the product, and I have no complaints.     • Pretty Darn Solid!
I picked this jumper pack up not really for my own use, but so I can jump other people at need. We drive an electric vehicle, and weirdly, they are extremely bad at jump-starting standard vehicles (people whine so much if I hook the 480v main pack up to their 12v battery...) so having a separate jump-pack lets you do that when needed. The construction of this Lokithor pack seems pretty decent, it doesn't feel cheap, and the jumper leads are of decent thickness, with good alligator clamps. It came about 75% charged and charged the rest of the way up via USB-C in a few hours - handily, it's also a very large USB power bank. I have thus far not had call to jump a full-sized vehicle, but it was able to start up my zero-turn mower with a dead battery without any issue at all, so the jumper circuitry is working fine! I'll update this review once I've had a chance to use it on a full-sized auto battery, but my initial impression is quite positive for the price tag! ... show more

    • Car Starter - A must Have!
We have a lot of vehicles, and some of them always need a jump start. This is an awesome jump starter in that it is much smaller than the ones we have used in the past (commercial grade) and so it is easier to store and travel with. It worked on 4 of our cars in our back lot with ease! As we are getting up there in age, this little starter is a game changer for us because we use to use car full size batteries and commercial size jumping cables in our trunk for whenever we need to jump a vehicle. With this unit, I feel more confident that we can retire the old jumper cables and batteries and just use this jumper. I love that it comes with a cigarette charging plug as well as a USB/C plug to charge the unit. They should have added a carrying case to make this unit perfect. Regardless of the missing case, I would highly recommend this jumper. ... show more
