I was surprised by how easily it paired with my MacBook Pro. I don't use the microphone on the camera, so I don't have a review on that aspect. I did use painters tape to affix it to a tripod, but since it's stationary, I don't see that as a problem. Well worth the money.

    • Great background light rejection
This works so much better than my older webcam. I have a window behind me and I struggled to get enough light on me. The Brio is much better at balancing the lighting. I can now do meetings without closing the shades behind me. Highly reccomend.

I went with a cheaper brand and it was horrible. So I went back to buying a known brand, as I have before in the past. And the quality is excellent. Works and I am very happy with.

    • Expensive, but it supports Hello (sort of)
Logitech has a good reputation so my expectations were high. I plugged the camera into a powered hub and it was not recognized. I chose another port and it came up. Windows 10 Hello could not open it. (sigh). I then tried to attach the tripod I bought for it. The base was supposed to come off, but there were no instructions on how to do it. I chose not to use a chainsaw. I opened a support case and 24 hours later, Logitech sent a long canned response. They wanted me to flush drivers, and jump through hoops and then plug it in directly (no hubs). Unfortunately, that meant I had to get down on my hands and knees (I need the exercise) to plug it into the motherboard USB ports. Now it works. The flip-out stand at the bottom can be removed. Just don't twist it. It has to be pulled STRAIGHT off. The documentation that comes with it was spartan and not helpful in either case. The website FAQ also didn't address either of these issues. This cost me an hour and cost Logitech two rating stars. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. the clarity, the sharpness, the beauty, the color is going to make you fall in love with yourself, when you see the Logitech BRIO UHD 4K Webcam image, because it is amazing! my advice do not think twice this is the only and best 4K webcam out there. the product material is good and sturdy, logitech webcam software is amazing as well with way to many cool features, auto light, 90 degre angle ect ect. the only thing this webcam needs is a longer wired but no complaint here. blessings to you all and good day the world is yours with this webcam! ... show more

I have been using a 1080p camera for years to stream with. I've always needed a ringlight or something to help brighten up my image. Not with this. The auto focus is amazing. I'm never washed out or blurry. The auto-brightness/saturation makes a complete difference. It's leagues above what I was using before. Well worth the money. ... show more

    • Upgraded from a 5 year old C920.
As someone who streams and creates content regularly, I don't wanna break the bank on items I don't have to. I used a c920 for about 5 years, but as I began to get some traction on my content, I wanted to upgrade the weakest link, which was the camera. I looked into getting digital mirrorless cameras like the Sony a7i and what not, but I would have to get a $400 camera, $200 camlink and a compatible mini hdmi cable. And after finding all that out, the $250 for this webcam sounded like a good deal. My old webcam was locked to 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps, and now I can do 4k 60fps or 1080p 100fps and its such a huge boost in quality.
