I had a heck of a time getting my Windows 10 computer to work with this camera and it was the settings on Windows. Why does Microsoft make it so hard? Anyway....I love the camera! Once I got it working, I chatted with a few family members and they all told me how good the video quality was. I will recommend the camera but tell you to beware of your computer settings if you are adding a webcam for the first time. This camera replaced an old Microsoft Show webcam that, ironically, does NOT work with Windows 10. If you spend a bunch of money on a Microsoft product, why can't it be backwards compatible? Loved the plug in and use ability. Oldest laptop required an upgrade. Used on multiple devices. Hubby needed to do a conference and it was even compatible with a windows tablet for zoom. You can use on little tripod they send it can hang over the top of laptop and also sits easy on a normal cheap camera tripod we have. It’s been great for lighting issues we had because of skylights in the rental home. Microphone works better than an external one we have as well. ... show more

It's got that weird soft blur of a cheap webcam. Which is OK, because it IS a cheap webcam. But don't let the "HD" fool you, just because it has a high pixel resolution doesn't mean it's a high quality image. I can't think of a single streamer that would use a camera of this low quality. It's probably fine for Zoom meetings, but don't try to make a YouTube video with this thing. ... show more

This was a replacement for my Microsoft Lifecam, which I had since about 2012. I was looking for something that would give me a crispier and clear production for my live stream podcasts. I was jealous of other YouTubers who seemed to have Hollywood Studio cameras. This little camera was definitely an upgrade over the Lifecam, but I'm still not where I want to be with quality, BUT I think this is good as I can get at this price. What I really like about the camera is that you can turn off all the lights in your office and just use the ring light and it gives your background the perfect dim, while highlighting your face perfectly. Although, the quality does look better with some light in the background. When it is completely dark, it tends to keep wanting to adjust and the coloring is inconsistent. I was unsure about its sturdiness on a Smart TV that I'm using as a monitor, but no problems. It holds great, except for those times that I kick the cord with my feet. Was a bit worried about the picture and video quality of this with it being a company that I have never heard of, but after hooking it up and taking a few photos I was really impressed with the quality that it had. The light that comes with it is really a nice feature as well. I can only give this webcam a 5 star. I have not tried the live streaming as of yet but looking forward to trying it out to see the results as well. I replaced my old USB camera with this one. The difference was amazing. Absolutely clear. Wish it had a capability to frame the shot (zoom in and out), but other than that, I am very pleased. I did not test the microphone because I have a separate Yeti Blue so I can't speak to the mic. The light feature is a great fill light at about 20" from camera. It supplements the room lighting very well. I have had several people ask me about my camera since I started using it, and my Pastor now has one for Streaming Worship Services each week. I cant use this camera at all because all it does is flash the video every second, so whom ever is trying to see my video can't do much but see it flash. The mic works through so I got that going for me. Sadly, I am outside the return window or I would have gotten my money back.
