  • Does the job but is a huge pain removing
Size: Single
I bought this to hang up posters and postcards in a place that I was renting because I didn't want to ruin the paint. It does its job because nothing came ever loose. Now that I'm moving, I started to take down my stuff and ran into quite a few issues. First it was extremely difficult to remove the putty from both my posters and wall. Pulling my posters off left behind tons of residue that I had to painstakingly try and peel off. Second it left behind blue oily-looking spots that don't come off. This is a huge disappointment as the whole point of using this was that I didn't want to ruin the walls but it seems I'll have to paint over them regardless. ... show more

  • Bad Product
Size: Single
I have one poster. I want that poster to stick to the wall. I don't want to make any holes. I think that's a pretty suitable scenario to use this putty. Sike, there is no scenario where this putty would be useful. I've gone through half the package now trying to get this poster to stay on the wall. I literally lined the entire perimeter of the thing with this stuff. But once a week there my poster would be, lying crumpled up on the floor because this pointless blue putty can't do the one thing it's designed for. "But surely," you must be thinking, "your walls must not be the right material for the putty? Perhaps the poster is too glossy?" Oh but that's where you're wrong. I have obnoxious blue marks all over my wall where putty refuses to come up, and putty is always caked to the poster when it falls. It loves sticking to things. It seems the one thing it cant do is stick to itself. Honestly I applaud the R&D team that came up with this stuff, because it must have been a real challenge to make a material that is incredibly hard to pull apart, but rips apart effortlessly under the weight of a single paper poster. In short, there are now thumbtacks in my wall. I'm just getting tape next time. ... show more

  • ATTENTION KPOP FANS** This is what you need!!
Size: Single
BEHOLD. This is my kpop (shrine) wall. Every poster and photocard you see in this picture is plastered to my wall with the Loctite mounting putty. I am in love with this product and use it religiously for anything that goes on my wall. It works great on small photocards and large posters alike. Some of those posters have been on my wall since last June and have not budged a single bit. The large posters you see, I have replaced a few times with different posters and I didn't need to use new putty for a new poster. I simply peeled off the putty that was on the old poster and put it on the new one. It STAYS sticky no matter what. You also do not need a whole lot. The tiniest bit can stick something and keep it there for forever. I have only bought this product once, I stuck everything you see in that picture to my wall, and I STILL have 1 1/2 sticks left. My one *tiny* complaint is that it does indeed leave a bit of residue on my wall. When peeling it off, sometimes it will leave a bit of putty behind, yet it isn't completely stuck there and can be taken off with some work. However, other than that I love this product and will definitely be buying more. ... show more

  • Great for hanging posters
Size: Single
I would suggest this if you wanna decorate your room in posters or what have yous. Easy to use? Absolutely. Just tear of a small chunk from a stick, put it to a corner or center piece of a desired item and there you go1 Adhesion? duh. Works, as long as your applying the product to something clean and flat. Easy to remove? ... well, not so much. Though, as a product thats supposed to be an adhesive, it's a but of a paradox to ask. I suggest having some left over to apply with your hands as to pick up traces of the residue on the wall/fridge/window/whatever you use the product for. ... show more

  • The Best!
Size: Single
I work as a Radiologic Technoligist in a busy hospital. We have to place markers on all images. I have been using Loctite Fun-Tak for two years and it works better than anything else I've tried. It stays on the back of my brass markers and sticks to cassettes as well as Buckys time after time. When not in use, my markers are stuck to my badge. It comes off when I want and sticks when I need it to. One package will last about a year as I use it over and over again. I change it out when it gets dirty--otherwise it is very durable. ... show more

  • Does its job
Size: Single
I bought this to hand a DIY comic strip made from foam, pictures, and modge podge. This did its job and held them up. I saw many reviews at the time of purchase complain about blue pieces being left behind. Well, I left my project up for over a year and didn’t have any problems taking it down. After you remove the piece, you just have to roll the blue piece over where there is any residue. I only had one tiny spot left after doing that and just used soap and water to remove. ... show more

  • Probably not what it's intended for but it is incredibly good at holding parts that you're soldering
Size: Single
I saw a you tube video where someone used this stuff to hold a part they were soldering. Now I'm hooked. I can't tell you how much I spent on various "helping hands" kind of contraptions. The only thing those mechanical helping hands do well is give you the finger! Just a blob of clay on the back of a component will hold it tight against the board and you can press it firm against your work bench and it will hold the part and the circuit board tightly in place. You can press the soldering gun against the things your soldering while you work and everything is held tight, unlike the helping hands that move a little or let-go because the clips aren't that good. This is an elegant and inexpensive solution made by someone smarter than an engineer! ... show more
