They replaced quickly and it holds a very heavy umbrella well and maneuvers easily for my husband but not for me however it is. Heavy duty and holds a heavy umbrella so not its by fault.

We are quite happy with the base. It seems well made and the built-in wheels make it pretty easy to move. We used 2 bags of sand and some water and it seems quite sturdy.
