I love this stuff. I have fine, straight hair but enough of it for a family of chinchillas to share among them. It's also long. I've tried just about every product ever made that promises volume and have been left disappointed. Some worked only marginally, or only as long as my cut was fresh, or when my hair was shorter, but none of them have wowwed me through to the end of the bottle...until now! This stuff makes my hair wonderfully voluminous every time I use it, even when I'm long overdue for a trip to salon. Every time I do a blow out I get compliments, and there's still plenty of volume on day two--sometimes into day three! Sometimes on day two I'll curl my hair (which doesn't like to hold a lot of curl usually) and I can get my locks so big and sexy a drag queen's wig would be envious. The first time I ordered it I was dubious because the bottle was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, especially for the price. However, it's lasted quite a long time (six months) even though I use about a nickel-sized dollop 2-4 times per week. I hope they make this product until I die. DO NOT think this product will help "thicken" fine hair- all it does is make it GREASY. I've used it 3 times- thinking maybe I used too much the first two times - or maybe hairspray was causing issue so last time no other product was used and same results- not matter how little I use I DO NOT get the results promised: "It helps give your hair long-lasting body and fullness with light hold that doesn't collapse or become stiff." NO BODY, NO FULLNESS -t just weighted the hair down and in less than an hour glued to my head. It is awful! ... show more

I love this brand so I thought I would try this thickening cream. It did not work as well as the 5 in 1 styling treatment. I’ll just stick with what I know works, my hair is fairly thin and I did not notice much of a difference after using this product

I love this product! I have thin hair. Using about a quarter-size amount, rubbing it in my hands and focusing on putting it mostly where I need more body,it gives my hair that lift that it needs. I've used so many other products and always come back to this one. Does not make your hair greasy. Let your hair dry a little, then put product in hair. I absolutely LOVE this stuff! It really adds thickness to my thin flat hair. I apply to the hair only not the roots. (I use the Living Proof mousse at the roots). It’s my favorite. Using both together gives beautiful fullness. I usually don’t even have to blow it try. I apply to moist hair, comb thru and hand-fluff. Very happy with it, and the shampoo & conditioner too. Only use a small amount on towel dried hair, then blow dry. My hair is fine and thin and it gives so much body without feeling sticky or hard. You can add product afterward to style

I love Living Proof hair products but was really disappointed in this product. I figured if their shampoo & conditioner along with the Best Hair Day cream that gives me the best hair day ever, the thickening cream would give my thin, fine hair even more body. In my opinion it gave me no volume and has been a waste of money. The Best Hair Day Cream has been ordered and I love it, more body volume than anything I've ever used. I have baby fine straight long hair. I used this twice. I wash my hair every other day, as to not over wash it. I am very careful with my hair because it seems it will react to anything. That is why I read everything on here; the description, the questions, & the reviews. I don't blow dry. I use conditioner and argon oil and this just left my hair looking like dry straw.
