Very sturdy and great honey gate. Lid is a bit difficult to use and a few times on removal white plastic fell in my honey. I put plastic wrap on first now.

Nice but expensive bucket
It's nice, but you might want to make one yourself to save some money but it is a nice desinated bucket

I am taking one star off because it is missing the wing nut that helps keep the gate door tight agains the opening to prevent leakage. Easy fix if I take the gate in to hardware store to get a good fit. After reading other reviews where they did not get the gate or a lid, I am glad I am only missing
a nut. Put together great and I will be using this for my liquid laundry soap. Like buying in bulk or making my own and this will allow me to dispense into smaller containers. Delivery was fast and the product is sturdy.

Good bucket for honey harvesting
This bucket worked well for honey harvesting. The hole was already cut and it was easy to simply screw the honey gate where it goes. Hand-tightening worked just fine. The gate itself was super easy to use one-handed while I held the jar with the other hand. It was easy to stop and start the flow very
quickly while filling jars. I thought the price was a little high and I was leery after seeing all the reviews that said theirs arrived with missing parts, but mine came with everything needed and worked just fine.

Works fine - lid missing, but quick seller response. No leaks, easy flow control
Very solid bucket, easily assembled. Arrived without a lid, seller responded quickly. Was unable to send a replacement lid, but did refund the full price. Quite impressed with customer service. Some reviews complain that the bucket leaks - I had no such issues either with honey, or water. Filled with
water and left over a weekend - no leakage. Thought the gate would make controlling flow of honey from the bucket into jars difficult, but it actually worked very well. Without mess was able to moderate and stop flow, transitioning easily from one jar to another. And I thought I was going to need something with a ‘tap’ at the bottom - I was wrong. Simple, works. Four stars only because of the missing lid, but this was remedied to my satisfaction. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

It's a honey bucket......
This is a heavy plastic bucket with lid and honey gate. The honey gate does need to be installed, but it isn't rocket science! I believe it will do the job perfectly.
