  • Very long shelf life, long run time, great at low temps, superior AAs
Size: 4 Pack AA
These are really nice batteries! From the built-in protections against leakage, etc., to the incredibly longs shelf life, these are more than a cut above ordinary alkaline batterie or even NiCd or NiMH technology. They are stamped with an expiration date on the side near the cathode end. We live in central NY state at high elevation and have harsh winters. I have already been using lithium batteries for my outside gear because they will continue to work well-below the temperature at which alkaline batteries will just stop producing electricity. During sub-zero weather my outdoor thermometers would all stoop transmitting and a fresh set of batteries would make them work again and the batteries I took out were still good once they were warmed up. But going outside in the middle of the night when it is negative 24 is not fun. Lithium batteries keep working at that temperature. With the recent advances in safety design of lithium batteries and the continued decline in all battery pricing due to market & technology shifts, migrating to lithium chemistry is a no-brainer! While $2.50 each is expensive, the incredible shelf-life with less than 1% self-discharge annually is definitely worth the extra shekels. Plus, you'll get significantly longer run time, too. PS. Just do not put them into a charger, these are NOT rechargeable, so trying to charge them is dangerous. ... show more

  • Good Batteries
Size: 4 Pack AA
The good - These lithium batteries have a lower discharge rate vs. traditional alkaline batteries giving them a much longer shelf life. They provide longer discharge periods making them last longer when in use vs a conventional battery. These are superior to conventional batteries in cold temperatures. The bad - These are not rechargeable. It would be great if they were rechargeable but compared to the cost of similar 3000mAh rechargeables, the price of these non-rechargeable batteries is palatable. Some might argue that not being rechargeable adds to waste, but remember these last longer than conventional alkaline batteries so comparatively you are using less. Overall these work great for our needs in items that we rely upon. Flashlights are probably the biggest use for us because they last so much longer, and don't discharge as quickly when not in use. ... show more

  • Lithium batteries are great for the cold
Size: 4 Pack AA
Ordered these Lithium Batteries AA Size, AA Battery 4 Pack, 3000mAh Double A Battery, 1.5V Lithium AA Battery, Longer Lasting Lithium Iron AA Batteries --- to use in headlamps and products that need to hold up to low temperatures when working out in the Montana cold. I have been using the brand name lithium batteries for a while and I do like them more than Alkaline. Only time will tell if these are as good or better than those. They are significantly cheaper... 16 for $23 is a really good deal on lithium if they perform well. I tested the voltage and rounding to the nearest hundredth we had 1.81 1.79 1.79 and 1.80 so pretty consistent voltage levels and in line with fully charged lithium batteries. These cannot be re-charged and appear to be well made. Will update the review after I manage to use them for a while and can comment on their capacity. ... show more

  • Work well in low temperatures; non-rechargeable
Size: 4 Pack AA
These batteries have the lithium chemistry, which makes them work well in low temperatures that would inhibit the chemistry of the usual, alkaline batteries. These have kept working over a few days in outdoor devices, so they’re good. These batteries claim a slightly smaller capacity than the “Ultra” version from the same manufacturer, but so far I cannot tell of any difference. Usually, lower energy density (which translates in lower capacity) is the tradeoff for safer batteries, so these may be able to sustain a higher current draw but there is no info on this. The label on each of these batteries has a “2044 11” date printed towards the negative terminal. Most probably it is the expiration date (November 2044), these batteries have a 20 years stated shelf life. ... show more

  • Hoping these great batteries last a long time in my high up security cameras
Size: 4 Pack AA
Normally I don't like to spend more than what the cheapest brand will provide when it comes to batteries. But I have a high up security camera that requires moving a bunch of furniture out of the way in order to get to it to change out the two batteries. These babies tout being a 'Longer Lasting Lithium AA battery' which is just what I need. I love the color of them too. 5 Star! ... show more

  • Gr8 batteries; lithiums are superior to alkalines, & are unlikely to corrode/leak. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Size: 16 Pack AA
lithium batteries used to be too expensive to even consider, but i guess that has changed. there's no question that lithium is a better battery all around than alkaline. for one thing, they don't gradually fade out, the way alkalines can. when thery run out, they're out. and second, they aren't prone to leaking the way alkalines tend to if you leave them in too long without use. i don't even like to think about how many of my expensive electronics were ruined because of corroded and/or leaking alkalines! thanks pink rabbit! thanks copperhead! i appreciate receiving these great batteries. thank you. ... show more

  • Works great so far!
Size: 4 Pack AA
Got these to go with some flashlights I want to store for just in case emergencies and don't want to have to worry about corrosion. If they leak any time in the next 10 years, or stop working altogether without having been used, I will update this review. Otherwise, they work great so far! No issues with any cell in the pack. Good enough for me! ... show more
