A proven ball and pump valve system to optimize paint mixing and flow is used in all Liquitex Professional Paint Markers. With a water- based acrylic formulation Liquitex Professional Paint Markers have been specifically developed for maximum compatibility with other Liquitex products. Versatile enough for use on almost any surface, use together with Liquitex Heavy Body, Soft Body or Spray Paint and finish with a Liquitex varnish for a bleed-proof finish which is both permanent and durable. This set includes six Paint Markers that each have a 15mm wide nib that provides the flexibility to achieve multiple line thicknesses.     • Pretty colors,delicate tips tho...

Love these pens...they are very bright and pretty.Be gentle using them as the tips are not going to last long used on a rough surface or being pressed very hard at all. I wish I could buy replacement tips for that reason,if they have them for sale I am not aware of that.

These are great markers. I bought some on amazon and some at the art store. They were purchased by color. I loved how easily the were to use. Some of the colors are more sheer than others. I was very happy with the Liquitex paints. In fact use all their products in my art work. They are consistently the best ( as far as I am concerned) . Even the student grade products have as much pigment than many other brands artist grade . However, the box of markers... the markers are a great product, but buying the box was not economical. The yellow for instance, is not a vibrant yellow in my book. A weird color I don't think I would buy. Not seeing the colors in personally, I felt there are colors in the box I will never use. They also come in a wider marker which is really great too. Bottom line, love the product but make sure you see each color before buying. ... show more

    • Very nice pens but I didn't realize they weren't a rounded tip.

I didn't realize the tip wasn't rounded. The pens work perfectly just not what I thought I was getting. I just didn't read the description correctly. I will find a use for them, I'm sure. I love Liquitex products.

    • Misleading description

Let me start by saying that Liquitex is a fantastic brand--I've used their gessoes and matte mediums for years. Their products are usually reliable and high quality. What frustrates me here is that I am looking for a professional acrylic marker to sign my work, and I thought this was it, because they listed in their description: "Six 2mm wide nib Professional Paint Markers." The term "wide" is a debatable term when there is no standard to compare it against, and based on the description, I thought it was a 2 mm nib. It's not--it turns out it is a 2 - 4 mm nib, which means that this is unsuitable to use for a signature. In addition, while this marker can still be useful to me for my mixed media art, I wish they would work on durability for the tips. They get fuzzy very quickly, especially on rough mixed media art. I do understand that the tips are replaceable, which is helpful, but the tips fray nearly immediately. They would need a bit more reliability for me to recommend these markers. Liquitex, please create a quality, proper rounded (or actual fine tip) professional acrylic marker that can be used for signatures. ... show more
