This yarn works up quickly and is nice and warm. It's a touch expensive for how little yardage you get but it's high quality. There was a problem with my order I ordered 2 but only received 1. Contacted their customer service and they shipped the second skein right away. Very happy.

I have always had relatively good experience knitting with this yarn, although I agree that the colors shown are occassionally not accurate and the thickness can very, but infrequently. My issue is with Amazon's choice of vendor. I ordered yarn for two separate projects on December 1st and it still hasn't shipped. Not holiday projects, but waiting 3 to 4 weeks seems excessive. I would prefer going to a local small business yarn shop and purchase really high quality yarn, but have 7 afghans to make for family and this yarn is more affordable and acceptable quality I would suggest that when making blankets, hats or scarves, using a needle size 1 ot 2 sizes larger that called for in the pattern is best.
