    • Very nice looking dresser!

Now that I’ve finally put the dresser together by myself (it took me about 5 hours and the manufacturer suggests having two people do it), I can comment on the assembly process. Note that I didn’t have power tools. The instructions were actually very good with very clear concise drawings. And I never had an issue where maybe a hole was drilled in one place when it should’ve been drilled in a different place and it affected the assembly, or pieces were out of alignment or something. So the manufacturing of the parts was well done for the most part. As I mentioned, it took quite a while to do this myself. Power tools would’ve sped things up, however since the wood is a sort of particle board, power tools can have a tendency to over torque screws and rip and crack particle board, so I’d maybe advise against it. No real cons to be honest. A couple of strange design choices by the manufacturer though. One of them was they augured strips of lines into a couple of the backboards of the dresser, however these augured lines are never seen because the boards that they’re on face inward towards the middle of the dresser and so are hidden. Not even when you open the drawers do you see them. And so they served no purpose. Idk just seemed weird and pointless to me. There was another instance where holes were drilled on a board but they were never used. I know this might sound like I read the instructions wrong, however in both the drawings and the description they never use the holes for anything. Ultimately you never see them as again they’re facing inward towards the middle of the dresser. Anyway, in spite of the augured strips in the wood and holes that serve no purpose, the dresser looks very nice all the way around. The pieces were packaged very well too with lots of padding. I actually had about a 6 inch gash on the packaging box that dug in about half an inch deep, however it never touched any of the pieces of the dresser because they were packaged so well with lots of styrofoam. I actually ended up buying two of these dressers, however have only put one together so far. If there are any cons with the second dresser as I start putting it together I’ll update this review. I went based off reviews of course and wished I didn’t lol the drawers aren’t as deep as I thought they would be. It’s definitely not “roomier than u think” as I read someone say and it really does take forever too put together. It looks nice I guess. Just a black dresser

    • Impossible to get drawers in!

Assembly went well, for the most part directions were easy to follow. Then, my last step- insert the drawers. THEY WILL NOT GO IN! Drawers use those wheel tracks, and after two days and MANY frustrating hours, I have 6 drawers hanging out, all catywampus, because the drawer track will NOT engage the dresser tracks! I have reviewed the instructions- did I do something wrong? No. I have reviewed YouTube videos, still nothing. So I now have a useless dresser because the drawers don’t fit. So I’m faced with taking the dresser apart, throwing the whole darn thing in the garbage, knowing I also threw away nearly $200 buying this piece of junk. I wish I could return it but it’s assembled- to a point. So, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DRESSER! I’d give it zero stars if I could. ... show more

I needed a new dresser and for the price it’s good. Pros: cheaper than other brands, decent amount of space for drawers, sturdy, looks nice. Cons: took a long time to build, drawers were hard to put in, package came slightly opened, already scratched the first day I got it.

As always, you get what you pay for. I had a budget and this fit in it. It took a long evening to put together, but really wasnt difficult. I did it all myself until the very end which required 2 people to attach the sides. My 14 year old is thrilled with it. My husband is a bit more particular. For some reason we have a little gap on the right side. But it's not that noticeable. Also, double check all measurements. I checked height and width but didn't pay close attention to depth.... Especially depth of drawers. They don't go all the way to the back of the dresser so perhaps this isn't as roomy as I'd hoped. That's my own fault for not carefully checking all specifications. It should work for our purposes. If your budget is limited, this is a nice little dresser. ... show more
