I have a hard time if keeping them in my ears. when they were in, they worked very well. I found it a little bit difficult trying to adjust the volume without it squeaking in my ear. Once I got it adjusted. it worked like a charm. For so long I’ve been doing close caption on the TV. I’ve also had to say excuse me excuse me many many times my mom had hearing aids and she did the closed caption thing and of course I was younger, but I was thinking, man. I’m glad I don’t have that working like that on my TV. Well, I found out if you wear the right device, you can hear beautifully. Thank you for making it affordable. ... show more

My stepmother is 80 years old. For almost 10 years now, if someone talks to her next to me, she can't hear them unless they yell. For almost 10 years now, She had an expensive hearing aid, but she didn't use it often for fear of losing it. She gave up on hearing aids after losing them several times and having to put them in box. I chose black so she could use it easily and find it. She still turns the TV on loudly at home and doesn't wear her hearing aids much, but she has to wear them when she goes out. The best thing about using this is that voice will be heard much louder than outside noise. She wore it for a week and got used to it. She loves using this. I was skeptical at first, but for the price, I figured I’d give the LINNER Saturn OTC hearing aids a try—and I’m glad I did. They work very well for me. Now I have to remind people that they don’t need to shout because I can hear them just fine now. No more yelling across the room, and the TV doesn’t have to be cranked up anymore. They take a little getting used to, especially when placing them back into the charging station—it was a bit fidgety at first—but once I figured out the right way to seat them, it became no problem. These work great for me. I’ve been able to turn down the TV volume to 25 from 100. I can actually understand a British show without subtitles. They amplify the wave length that I can’t hear well successfully. They have also been helpful in small group conversations. I don’t say, pardon me or say that again, nearly as much . It was so loud even on the lowest level I don't see how anyone could use it. Maybe I am not hard of hearing after all? My husband kept saying why do you have the TV so loud? I remember my grandmother doing that, so I thought I will see how a little help does. Didn't want to be stubborn that I have no problem. I could hear my heart beating. The woods floors creaking like it was in my ear. I heard myself breathing, when talking if was like yelling in my ear. I kept adjusting to to lowest level and still just too loud. I wonder if dogs and other animals hear like I did when wearing the aid. If so, they have my most sincere sympathy. I think you would have to be very close to total deafness to need this device. Best thing about it is.... it most certainly amplifies sound if you need it that much. Maybe my husband just has ultra good hearing? I am not ready for a hearing aid. ... show more

These are so worth buying! The older I get the more help I need with my hearing. These are small and stay in my ear better than others I have purchased. I like that they are color coded to visually see which is left or right. The ear piece is also is a soft silicone that is very flexible for the fit and non irritating. Simple instructions and very easy to set up and use. I will buy again from this brand because of the quality and ease of use.
