They sent me a used radio, it had major scratches all over it? The labels have been peeled off, and there’s dog hair stuck to it. I was going on a long trip and was excited to install it before I left so I decided I would install it and then exchange it later. However it didn’t work at all. There was a smell of burning electrical which should’ve been my first sign. So I wasted several hours installing and then uninstalling this followed by the run around from Amazon and the manufacturer. And to add insult to injury I was late returning it so they charged me a $350 restocking fee for my efforts. Absolutely infuriating experience I think everyone should avoid this seller unless you hate yourself. ... show more

    • Do not expect help if you have issues
The radio looks great and works great. The USB in my truck (I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado) can not handle the data transfer for the carplay functionality. So I have to plug my phone directly into the USB provided that connects to the back of the radio. This is inconvenient as that USB is behind the radio. The USBs in my truck work they just can only charge devices. I am also having issues with my mic not working. So when on a phone call, I can hear them, but they can not hear me. I am currently working through suggested fixes, but so far none have solved the problem. The directions included are not useful and the directions in the online manual is not much better. I'm finding that many things I buy that need to be installed or put together are going bare minimum on directions. It's like they want us to have to call them. Makes no sense. This radio is awesome .. right out of the box awesome all my factory stuff plugged right in even fa tory backup camera I give it a 10 out of 10 . One of the easiest radio changes I have ever done and I have be doing them for well over 20 years I recommend it to everyone that has that year truck

I love my Tesla style radio very stylish great sound quality. Love the screen with everything on it . Only con is you need time to setup all the things this unit is able to do . Thank you inkwells 💯👍🏾

This radio is so slow it’s unbelievable. My car play barely works ever the radio freezes constantly my apps never show as they should and the device had several Bluetooths on screen already as if it was already used. I’m highly upset and dissatisfied. Reaches out to customer service they were no help I would never recommend this item ever ... show more

This radio is amazing, however I had several audio shops refusing to install it. I finally called a high end audio shop and they installed it in about an hour and 30 minutes. I highly suggest contacting a good audio shop for this radio because since I had a Bose system they advised me of an additional part that i needed that wasn’t in the box. ... show more

    • And it still doesn't working right
Got it on 10/25/20. Watched many times the YouTube installation. (NO GEN.IV install instructions available) The most important connection is the phone USB. The video has the Bose system installation only. Z-link is the worst app ever for the phone mirror. Was able to see on the screen my phone one time only and no more. If you look into others who purchased the head unit questions and problems with the system errors, it's all because of the phone connection or the app. Z-link. Ordered/installed the factory dash camera from Linkswell. I was impressed by how many great futures are in that simple little camera. Sadly the app stop working. Many apps are not working with the system. Unable to install any Zip files from Linkswell due to the USB not recognized by the system. I become an expert taking out and installing back the radio and all connections without watching the video. I tried all USB connections out; maybe I did something wrong. No. Contacted the seller they were kind and send me one phone dangle ( Gen. IV does NOT NEED using the phone dangle to link). I can't use it because it needs a download and my USB is not working. Linkswell, send me an update for the Z-link. I'm not able to install it due to the USB. What's working? Radio, Bluetooth/phone. Love my Roku. Roku helped out on a long drive down and back from Seattle-Palm Springs. Missing having to see the clock any time. I'm hoping that I found a way of fixing the radio. It looks great, and after you installed it, you don't want to go back to see 8 inches screen only. Oh, the booting up time is long! Don't fasten the screws all the way in when you install the head unit. Otherwise, the left and the right side won't go in and sticks out. Let it move/prime all three together. The suitable upper screws are not easy to install on—no space for a power drill to fit securely. Use a hand wrench. ... show more
