Installation is a little bit more fiddly than expected but still easy enough - tip: temporarily secure the two roller assemblies to the rod with some duct tape (the handyman's secret weapon) to prevent them falling out when installing. I ordered these for 3 of our bedrooms and they are easy-to-use and do a good job of blocking light. The pull string/mount broke on one of them but I'm chalking that up to us being rough. I have west facing bedroom windows that heat-up the entire room during Texas summer days. I have tried alot of different blinds and shades but these have worked the best. Very easy to install. I didn't use the drywall mounts, as it's a very tight fit, I used the screws only. Measure carefully, I have one window that is about 1/8" narrower than the other 2 and it was a VERY tight fit, almost had to return it for a larger size. See photos for details on light blocking.
