I originally ordered the WHITE, but it was too stark against my white walls (Benjamin Moore, Super White). So I ordered IVORY instead, which is more muted and neutral against the wall and it was exactly what I wanted. Also, I used my handheld steamer on these to get out the creases, which really is a must to get these looking right. Close up, the IVORY has a few tiny specs of linen/brown, but it's indiscernible unless you look close. Also does well to block light with the solid white backing. ... show more

Yes, these curtains were blackout curtains due to the plastic backing. But I returned them because I was looking for a curtain with a Linen-like front fabric (or even anything that felt like actual fabric). I don’t know how these curtains got such great reviews. These are so plasticy on the front side that to me it felt like a vinyl shower curtain. They don’t hang nicely even with pleat hooks because, well, they are like a hard plasticy sheet. They also smelled like chemicals and would definitely get messed up in the washer due to being so heavy on the plastic. The description was pretty misleading to me. ... show more

I ordered these blackout curtain panels to go in our master bedroom. We live on a busy corner and need all the help we can get with reducing light & street noise, and these curtains do the job well. The look is natural, though the curtains are just 30% linen and 70% polyester. The weave and finish of these panels make them look more like linen than they actually are, and that's something I really appreciate. They are easy to care for and can be ironed on the front side, if needed. I love all the shades they're offered in and I chose the "natural" color, which turned out to be a perfect compliment to the other cream colors in our room. I think the "linen" color would be really nice, too, as it appears to be even more creamy colored than the "natural", but I really wanted the most neutral cream color and that's why I chose these. The light blocking is as good as any other blackout curtains I've tried and better than most, so I'm pretty satisfied and would recommend these curtains to others needing good looking blackouts! ... show more
