While this carrier isn’t the cheapest, I started off strong by investing about 200 in the Tula baby carrier. I wanted soft breathable fabric and the Tula kept leaving rashes on my baby’s legs.. I’m 3 months In using the Lille baby and me and my baby are traversing the world, happy and rash free. I love this and so does my daughter. She weighs 20 pounds and I barely feel her in this carrier. She falls asleep in 2 mins when I wear her in here! I love the color (I got moonbeam) and all the functions of this carrier. I was confused and disappointed when I realized I did not receive the lumbar support piece. If you read carefully, the color moonbeam doesn’t provide it for whatever reason. Some other colors do. So keep that in mind.. other than that I’m very happy with this. ... show more

I found it bulky and not very comfortable for my baby. Maybe as he gets older he’ll like it better. It is a little hot, too, and you need an insert for newborns.

Bought this originally when my baby was a newborn. I didn’t like you had to buy separate inserts for infant. I tried the hack of folding a blanket and using it as a seat for my baby, but it was just awkward. Maybe this carrier is better for larger children. I ended up buying and using a Baby Bjorn mini carrier instead. ... show more

    • Lumbar support not included
Although everything indicated that the lumbar support would be included, including an answer to that exact question, it was not included and says on the box it must be bought separately. In case you were buying it for that reason, please be aware.

    • Not comfortable
The waist band is stiff and does not come with lumbar support (didn’t even know that was an option until recently). If you don’t have that support it’s extremely uncomfortable. So difficult to get the baby in a comfortable position because the waist band is so stiff.

    • Such a hassle!!! Not worth the money!
Sure the material is nice and it has the extra shade and pocket etc. ~ However ~ getting a baby in this is such a hassle! It seems so much more wide than it needs to be and is just not proportionate. You also have to buy the little seat cushion SEPARATELY. For a $100 baby carrier and having to buy the seat separate it is NOT WORTH IT.
