Can get warm with hotter temperatures quicker than some other carriers I've used due to the amount of material you wrap around your body to secure your little one. My daughter only wants to be held and this is perfect. It’s comfortable so I can just have it on all day and quickly take her in and out. It does take some practice to get the wrapping down but once you do it’s easy to use by yourself, with other carriers I need help buckling the back strap to keep it on. ... show more

I got this wrap for my second child. I had the Infantino Flip 4-1 carrier for my first and it worked great, I really have no complaints. However, with my second that I recently had, she was a preemie and didn’t fit in it. I thought and looked around for a better option for her. I knew of the wraps but I had always thought they wouldn’t be the best fit for me. Man was I wrong. It is very long and overwhelming when you originally go to put it on the first time. I definitely had to have the instruction manual the first few times. It’s super comfortable and it really does keep baby extra cozy. If I go to set baby down she will cry a lot and I find I don’t get much done. If I wear her in this she will sleep for hours. For example in this picture, it was my son’s second birthday party and she had been in it for almost 3 hours before waking up just to eat. This is now my favorite carrier. We haven’t had my husband wear it yet but I assume it will work just as good for him. He should have plenty of room if he decides to wear her. He’s about 6 ft and 230 lbs, but I suspect it would be fine for him too. ... show more

I will make an edit once I get the chance to actually use it; my baby is not yet here I still have 4 weeks to go. I have loved the idea of using wraps to baby wear for a VERY long time, and now that I’m going to have a little one I finally was able to buy one justifiably. One of my aunts got me a different company, so I will be comparing the two. This one, right off the bat you can tell is made with care. It came specially wrapped in a box with the company name. Folded nice and neat with a card with instructions on use sitting right on top. You flip over the first layer and there are two more cards. One is safety reminders not only of how to wear your baby, but instructing on how to prevent closed airways. And the second is a card that has their mission statement and a thank you for purchasing. Inside attached to the tag is a registration card for recall and warranty information. I bought the Sangria wrap, and the color is just gorgeous. It’s more vibrant than the picture implies, but that’s a good thing. It’s super soft and lightweight despite the amount of fabric involved. I’m really excited to try it. The other one (I don’t remember the name of the company, it was a $22ish one I added to my registry as I knew family would be unlikely to buy the more expensive brand. It’s gray and very comfortable to wrap. Light cotton jersey kind of material. It has the instructions printed on one end sewn to the fabric, and a tag that marks the center for where to place it when wrapping. It came with a drawstring bag for protection. I am definitely more impressed at this stage with the boba wrap. I will add to my review once my daughter is here and I can do more than try either on. (I will also be editing to add the name of the company for the second wrap I got) Edit: I have used this twice so far (4 weeks old now), and I have to say I absolutely love it. My recommendation though is to baby wear either with just the diaper or with a lightweight like gerber onesie without sleeves or legs. All the layers of cloth made her very warm to the touch. But keep in mind where you are…it’s currently January in Southern California for me. I would assume Minnesota or Alaska you would need many more layers than that. It supports her weight perfectly and makes it super easy to do things like eating. I love this wrap. I have not yet tried the other brand (jeroray or something like that) I got. ... show more

Wish I had this for my first baby, it’s easier to use than the one I had, which took two person to set up or it’s a fight. Material feels great, easy to put baby in or take out it’s just easier and convenient.

The material is soft, though thicker than I expected so not good in warm weather. It’s uncomfortable when it bunches up because it’s significantly thicker than the Solly material. This replaced my old Solly whose material was not holding anymore. This material is TOO STRETCHY. I have to wrap and pull it as tight as I can get it, which makes it uncomfortable on my body, but even then once I put my baby in it, who is only just 5 months old and around 14lbs, he sags down, within 10 minutes he’s sagged down to my belly and hip like. It’s very uncomfortable for him to be that low at his size. Again, if I try to make it tighter it’s so much material digging into my shoulders and waist. I think it might work fine on a newborn, but not once they have a little more weight. I expected this to work well for the next 6 months plus, but I think he’s already too heavy for it. ... show more
