This is my first wrap style carrier but it is definitely preferred over my past experiences with clip on ones. Pros: 1. It has lots of room for adjustment. You can literally use it from newborn to toddler with different wrap styles which is more than I ever got out of clip carriers. 2. It is quite soft and has a little bit of stretch to it. It makes it quite comfortable for both mom and baby. 3. It makes a great option for skin to skin. Anytime I tried to use other carriers for skin to skin, it caused a lot of irritation for me. I often carry my baby in just my nursing bra and this carrier. And I don’t feel naked or exposed because of the ability to adjust the fabric. Now the cons: 1. This thing is MASSIVE. Yes, the size is what makes it useful for so long, but it’s a lot of fabric to manage, especially when using it for a tiny newborn. And it makes storage a bit of a hassle. I come with a bag to store it in but you do have to take time to fold and roll it to get it to fit. 2. There is a bit of a learning curve with putting it on and getting your baby in it. It took me three or so tries to get it right and when you have a fragile, fussy newborn that can be discouraging. 3. With the newborn wrap, your arm movements are restricted. Because of how the fabric is crossed over the shoulders, you can’t reach above your head. I find this a little annoying when I’m trying to get things done but it’s not a huge deal. Overall, I’d say it’s a good purchase. I can’t really say anything for using it outside the house as I haven’t tried but I love it when I’m needing to do things and she doesn’t want to sleep on her own. ... show more

This wrap is a godsend! It takes a second to learn how to put it on, but once you have the rhythm it's second nature and doesn't take any thought. It does drag on the ground while putting it on since its long, so it can pick up debris outside. BUT it is the coziest thing. My son lived in this as a baby, and though we tried to get a new wrap for our daughter that was cotton, she hated it. We pulled this back out and she falls right asleep every time I put her in it! I hate wash day because it means she won't nap. She loves this thing so much. Baby is so secure and snug I can do heavy yard work with no worries of baby falling out. So yes, 1)It is hot. So I have to take breaks with yardwork in the sun or she gets super sweaty. 2)As far as I understand, it's a synthetic fabric. Not my favorite but creates magical elasticity and smugness. 3)It gers dirty in the fall if you put it on outdoors But for us it's so worth it for a secure and comfy baby and momma! *bonus, is also works for back carrying. Rides a bit low and smooshes my newborn against my belly where she heats up incredibly fast and passes out. It's very soft and stretchy material but actually holds body heat like crazy. She looks comfortable but I worry constantly and try to keep repositioning her and tilting her away from my body for fresh air which only buys me like an extra 15 minutes before I have to get her out of the carrier wrap. I also might be stupid because I have to watch the tutorial video practically frame-by-frame every time I want to wear this thing! I'm tall and barely have enough wrap length to go around my back and tie over my stomach as shown by their video tutorial. I wanted to use this while my baby didn't quite fit in some other carry packs and have something for on-the-go travel portability that could fit in the diaper bag pocket. I end up barely getting to use this even though my baby loves to be carried because of inconveniences sadly ... show more

Once you get used to assembling the wrap, it’s just easy and convenient and the plus side of this, you can keep your baby nice and warm, you can also do skin to skin, also if you adjust the wrap perfectly enough, you could even pump while holding your little one.
