Upon laying on it, your body does warm up the comforter but it does stay cool to where I can rub my feet against another part of my bed and it's cold. It’s incredibly soft and feels amazing. I loved this blanket from the moment I ordered it but l was afraid that it would put off to much heat. But to my surprise it actually has an almost cooling effect. And I love that prior to and even after washing it the feathers stay in the comforter! I got a queen size and it fits my bed perfect. The duvet i purchased for it fits very well which was a plus.
