Very cool bike for kids. I purchased this for my 3yr old nephew. He was so excited when he opened the box. The bike was easy to assemble and it also came with decent quality tools as well. We’ve had the opportunity to test this bike along side a Stacyc for a couple of rides and I feel like this bike a much better option. The battery life and charge times were about the same. The stacyc was on the intermediate power mode and this bike was on the fast mode, which kept up pretty good. The build quality of both bikes is great. I will give Stacyc the win for internal cable routing, but a few well placed zip ties tuck them in nice. Plus this bike gets a number plate so that makes it way better and hides the cables. The main difference between the Stacyc and DNA bike is in the power delivery. Stacyc has immediate throttle response, whereas the DNA is delayed by a few second. That makes the DNA easier for a child who isn’t used to the throttle and avoids getting thrown off the bike when they gun it. The only problem is the delay might be a little too long for the impatient children. It’s hard for them to associate twisting the throttle with moving if they have to wait 5 seconds before anything happens. But it still only takes 10-15 minutes for them to get the hang of it and start ripping around. Long story short I would go with the DNA bike and buy two more with the money I saved from not getting the Stacyc for my kids friends and cousins to use. ... show more

The back tire is worn through with a large hole after only a couple times of riding. Just a regular neighborhood sidewalk nothing crazy he just rode the bike like any normal kid would. I can’t believe it’s worn through like this already. My son is absolutely heart broken

The media could not be loaded. Perfect bike for my 2 year old he started out on a balance bike and moved to this after Christmas ! Slow setting is perfect for new riders and throttle is very forgiving ! Highly recommend no issues at all! Love the build quality and low cost

My original order was a 16 Inch green. We received our package and was incorrect. It was a 12 inch red. They wanted me to return it for a refund and purchase another one but I wanted a replacement because I got a prime price. They said ok we understand. They sent me a label. I returned it. I got a replacement the correct green 16 inch bike Assembled the bike, fairly easy charged the battery per instructions go to turn on All lights are green fully charged pull the throttle and it doesn't go. I Go on the page to find some troubleshooting figure out that I may need to open the housing to make sure the fuses are attached. Did that they were in fact, not attached. And the wires look a mess compared to the video I watched for trouble shooting 😳it looks like the wires were removed and glued back. Did I get a used repaired bike ? The picture is supposed to look like the video nice and neat. That's a concern since my child will be riding. Anyways I got it working .He finally got to ride it Saturday. In a large grassy area at the park . It started to make a loud noise. maybe coming from the housing area but I noticed part of the noise was a screeching It's coming from the brake disc I believe It's warped so every time it spins it's rubbing against the brakes. They're telling me I can't get a replacement because this is my second replacement, but in fact, it should be my first because they sent me the wrong one the first time, my son loves the bike, but hates the sound and I'm concerned about the wiring . my son has been looking fwd to riding with me unfortunately we've been disappointed twice. I really hope they make this right . As it was not a cheap bike . I'm hoping I get a return call or e mail from Amazon or Joanna the woman I spoke to who said I should be able to get a replacement or anyone to reply to my comment review... My some is 8 yrs old on the smaller side . This bike is light weight and seems durable besides the issues I've unfortunately had. Hoping I will be able to re write a positive review once my situation is taken care of Send help ... show more

We bought a replacement additional battery along with the 16" electronic dirt bike from DNA via Amazon. Completely happy with the bike; my grandson, 7 years old, loves it! However, the additional battery we bought has only half the amps / energu output that the original one does. It takes just as long to charge, but if my grandson gets 5-10 minutes use of of it that's doing good. If I had known this I would never have bought it. The battery alone was well over $100 and not worth $20. Very misleading and deceptive practice for the sale of the battery, it should have been the same as the original. There was nothing in the ad to say it wasn't! Very disappointed. The bike however was great! ... show more
