The stand folds to a small and lightweight package but can be quickly extended to a nice height for many situations. The phone clip is very sturdy and the remote connected with my phone right away. This tripod did great on one of our recent trips. The phone mount was sturdy and I felt no fear of it dropping my phone. The tripod itself was super light weight and perfect for hiking. With lightweight comes light metals and plastic so be aware of that + the price point. Love this tripod for capturing photos on a cellphone camera. Sunsets, stars and time lapse meteor photos. Very portable and well built, would be great to carry to remote locations or to use at family gatherings for a group photo.

    • Good but dysfunctional shutter
Needed something to add more range of motion to my baby camera and this did the job perfectly. I love the fact that it is lightweight and comes with it's own little carrying bag to make it easy for storage and travel. I also used it to take family photos with my phone and the set up was pretty simple. I love the fact that I was able to switch between a horizontal and vertical position depending on what I wanted to capture. Would recommend product. Edit: Remote control Shutter started to malfunction after 1 use. One short press and the light would keep blinking and take up to 100 pics at a time, wasting memory and eventually causing my phone to freeze. Very disappointing and frustrating. ... show more
