I bought this artificial aquarium partly to entertain my cats but also to calm me down when I am anxious. It is very pleasant to watch the fish "swim" around and it is not noisy at all, at least mine isn't. I have read reviews from buyers that say it is kind of noisy but I can barely hear it. One thing I did notice was how flimsy the power cord is and it is not UL rated or listed and that sort of worried me since anything that plugs into an outlet really should be more sturdy and have that UL sticker on it since it is pulling electric current, but I think as long as you don't keep it on for hours at a time it is safe enough. Plug does not get warm so I'm not too concerned about it. I would not, however, leave it unattended when in use. Overall I am very happy with it. ... show more

Purchased for a relative in assisted living. She loves to watch the fish and it doubles as a night light. Just the right size to fit on her side table. Very bright beautiful colors and actually looks like the fish are swimming through the water.

Really nice 😁👍🏾 30$ for fish therapy opposed to 500$ human therapy very good bargain u can watch it go spin my woo for hourzzz **FYI BEFORE YOU BUY!!** :3 Seen some comments about it being a “fire hazard and cheaply made.And somewhat noisy?” I think it’s kind of a hit or miss based off what region it’s shipped too. I live in the US and the package was shipped with Amazon and not an external company. It works fine but you need to read the instructions! It is only a fire hazard if it’s left ON for over 8 Hours! Make sure to turn it off every one once in a while. :)! About the noise.. it’s also a hit or miss. Since it’s like a lamp that’s made based off revolving film I’m guessing this happens sometimes when the film isn’t in the right position, it’ll make a humming sound. It normally fixes itself if you leave it on for a while, turn it off turn it back in after a while and you’ll be good to go! Hope this helps! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The fish will stop moving then continue again, motor lags and creates pop noises as if parts are popping back in place. It stopped working for me within an hour of use. Aesthetic wise though, it fits great.

This toy comes very bright once plugged in and makes some noise when you turn it on. The tank looks exactly like the picture when it arrives and it moves similarly to the video sample. Expect an average sized toy, and it fits on the bookshelf just fine!

The media could not be loaded. Got this for my son who’s spent quite a lot of time in PICU & TICU at Childrens hospital. When he’s admitted, he’s in the bed most of the day and of course at night. He’s definitely enjoyed watching this aquarium. He is 11 years old and has developmental delays but I still like to get age appropriate things he will enjoy. This fits that perfectly because it’s not too kiddie. The fish are realistic and the vibrant colors from the fish, water and coral reef are beautiful. There is one switch to turn it on and off, couldn’t be simpler. Only thing I wish it had is some ambient water sounds. Right now, I’m running this thing constantly having no issues with power or function. The nurse even knocked it off the shelf accidentally and it hit the hard floor but wasn’t affected as far as I can tell. I look forward to going home and using this in my sons room as a relaxing night light. Well worth The price. I did purchase it on sale, around $32-35 I think.
