Ive used a smaller lower back lumbar pillow to help with my posture and back since I have a desk job that requires a lot of sitting. However my back is always still hurting a bit so I decided to try this one after reading the reviews. I’ve had it a few months now and LOVE it!! The cushion support on both the back and bottom seating area is amazing - my bottom no longer hurts when I sit through 8 hours of meetings, and the back cushion is thick but structured enough to help me improve my posture when sitting as well. I like the adjustable straps to allow you to personalize the tension and height of the back rest to what suits your body shape and form - it allows much more support than just a small lumbar pillow. I do a lot of computer work while sitting on my couch. The angle of the couch back is not quite right for good posture. This seat cushion backing is firm enough to promote good posture but it is not uncomfortably stiff.

I've been using this product for about a week now and it definitely seems to help my back and posture. I have a bad back (herniated discs) and this helps in keeping it from flaring up. It fits in my chair ok (I have a gaming chair, a little narrow than regular chairs), is firm and has great cushion. It does, however fit a regular sized office chairs great. It holds it's shape and cushion very well - does not sink a lot while sitting. The curves in the cushion seems to go along with the natural curvature of my back. It feels like well made product. The material/fabric do not feel cheap. I like the dark color of the fabric too - blends in with typical dark office chairs. A couple things that I'm not a fan of is that it seems a little bulky and doesn't really fit in a backpack so it's not very portable. I think it's definitely suited for an office setting especially if you sit for long periods of time and would be great as a car cushion as well for those long (or short) trips! Would recommend for anyone, not just people with back issues, like me. ... show more

This thing is more a pillow than a seat. It says it can be used anywhere, but that anywhere needs to be shaped like a chair with a back. The thing came vacuum sealed to compress the memory foam to save space and the way it folded small didn't bode well. Cut it open and waited a day for the foam to uncompress. So the entire thing is too soft and you need a chair to actually give support, it can't provide it on its own. If you tighten the two straps it really does nothing, the straps just dig into the soft foam and the back kinda collapses down(picture a skinny belt cinched tight around a ordinary pillow). If there's no chair back or wall and you lean back, you're basically going to fall backwards. It says you can use it on the floor, but no way unless its on the floor against the wall. Shame because i'm a sports photographer and sitting cross legged on the floor alot, i was hoping for something that could give me back support. If they maybe offered some plastic inserts to stiffen it or redesigned the way the straps attached to spread out the forces so it doesn't just squish the foam in. As for the performance itself, it offers pretty good comfort and lumbar support. It only covers the lower back so it would be nice to lean shoulders back too. The butt portion is more shaped to fit your body than typical chairs. If i were to do it again i'd probably get a tall backed chair with good lumbar support and get just a shaped cushion for the bottom. For now its being used by my elderly father while he exercises with a desk cycle. The pedal motion hurts his tailbone and the thick cushion alleviates that ... show more

I have been using a small lumbar support pillow that's kind of like a sphere-like shape for a while to give a little extra support while sitting on the couch and relaxing. (I find that helps me to not completely lose all semblance of posture!) When I saw several positive reviews about this particular cushion and support, I was intrigued and was curious how it might differ. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The level of comfort and support is far superior. The fact that it has two halves that are connected creates a great level of support that a singular cushion cannot dream of. This is a great product if you sit all day or don't have back support. It is adjustable on the sides depending on how you sit. Also the best part is that you can use this in places where you don't have a back to your chair, or outside! This really alleviates the pain to your hips, although if you are larger hipped you may have to adjust it a lot more as it will roll your hips forward. . My office chair is on the deeper side and cannot sit fully back on it. I got this cushion seat to give my back extra support and hoping to help my posture while sitting. It was fine at first and the lumbar support felt nice. But after a couple weeks sitting on it, the nubs in the back support started to rub and irritate my w lower back.
