I've received endless compliments. I bought the black in the wide calf and the brown in the regular. I'm a plus size woman. The calf is tight on the regular but it zips fine. I couldn't believe the deal I got on them both. I wear them for 10 to 14 hours at a time and they are comfortable.

These are the first pair of boots that I have bought lately that were wide enough for me as far as the actual foot base, the calf was definitely loose if that is how you like them it’s good to know! I personally have thicker calves and these fit just fine not too loose and not too tight.

Love love love these boots!! They have an elastic panel that's perfect for my fat calves. It's so frustrating how most boots just dont zip up for me. But these are great! **The fit is wide, but some thick socks make the fit perfect!

Disappointed when these beautiful tall black boots from LifeStride arrived at my home and I tried them on - or tried to. I do have wide calves - I do elliptical and treadmill - but they are not HUGE. These boots were absolutely frustrating. They may offer a bit more room for wider calves, but not generous enough for mine. Again, I have wide calves but not inordinately large ones. This was a fail. I ordered a 10 W and returned them immediately. Still looking for the ideal black tall boot on Amazon for wide calves. This was definitely not the right one for me. ... show more
