    • Cup stuck!
It worked well 3 times, and then the cup got stuck on the base. I CANNOT get it off I mean I’ve tried everything. Now I have a cup of milky protein shake stuck to the blender… should have listened to the other reviews.

Even though the blender cup contents are well below the max line and cup is well secured to the base blended contents leak into the base. I found that if I limited the contents to only a half cup then it would not leak. Disappointing! Would not recommend if you want a full cup! REVISED REVIEW: I found that the leaking would occur only if I blended for another cycle. I am now using the Smart Power cycle and find that this is a perfect blend cycle for smoothies. These days I keep a coffee cup of sliced banana and blueberries in the freezer. When the urge takes me, I dump them into one of the 28-ounce cups of this blender, add some unsweetened apple sauce and chocolate almond milk, and in less than 30 seconds I have a smoothie that makes me wonder why I don't make them every day. This blender is powerful, especially for its price, and the cups (two are included) are a good size. I also use it to blend non-dairy white sauce using chick peas. Power is needed to make a smooth chick pea blend, and this unit has it. Very nice! I actually would have liked one smaller cup instead of two larger ones, but so it is. A heavy long straw fits through the drink lid for smoothies or to store the liquid in the refrigerator. Very pleased! ... show more
