The truth is, no vacuum is perfect, and you need more than one: for different purposes and for each floor. My old Eureka sucked well but was heavy to drag, hard to store or use on stairs. Oreck's extra long cord was a big plus but it didn't fit under all furniture, and finally broke down. Roomba was great for cat hair but had too many downsides for me. Handheld Dyson is still my go-to for cleaning my car, furniture, and cleaning after small projects. Review after 9 months of use: PROS: -Beautiful and thoughtful design -Easy to store -Slides under all my furniture -great suction -Cordless is so convenient -Lightweight -Transparent dust bin -No vacuum bags!!! -Easy to empty out the dust bin -Light shows the dust -Good plastic material, not flimsy -Suction feature, etc. CONS: -There are only 2 attachments and I wish the brush was softer and denser, but I can use my hand-held Dyson when cleaning window sills and small corners needing attachments. I use my LG stick at the power setting just below Max, and it lasts me 30-40 minutes. I have a 1500 sq. ft. single-story house with hardwood floor and rugs. After getting the LG stick vac, I began vacuuming the house in portions because of the charge time, but it turned out to be a benefit not a deficit. Each charge allows me to clean half of my house, and vacuuming is no longer a dreadful chore. It feels and looks like a luxury item without the brand name price tag. I am really disappointed in this. I bought it thinking it would be great, but it lasts for maybe 15 minutes before dying and the auto empty feature does not work! If I could return it I would. It’s not worth it. I would say the suction is good but what good is suction if it doesn’t even clean a 1/4 of my house before dying. ... show more

    • A cordless vac that works very well
This vacuum has excellent suction power. It is lightweight and easy to use, and gets into tight spots. The auto empty feature works very nicely. The battery life is sufficient to thoroughly vacuum about 600 ft.² on a single charge.

The vacuum has a really good power suction, it also has a low noise when in use. It is light, so you wont get tired when using it. The design is super nice. The vacuum feels good quality, it is easy to clean and the box with autoclean is really cool. The downside is the battery, it does not last much. You have to use it on a low suction mode in order to reach the 20 minute use. If you need to use it at full power and using the floor tool, it wont last 10 minutes. ... show more

    • Good vacuum Terrible battery life LG customer service a fail
I liked using the vacuum and the storage feature that kept accessories close at hand. The auto empty feature was imperfect but pretty good. I didn't like the 14 min battery life. I really wanted to keep the vacuum and when I contacted LG they sent a replacement battery. At that point, LG also offered to just ship the unit back but I wanted to try. When it arrived, I used it 3 times. Still getting 14 min of run time. I contacted LG again expecting them to send me a return label. Now, they require customers to either do a self repair or ship it back for 4-6 wks of refurbishment. At that point, I would have had the vacuum too long to return it to Amazon. I pressed my concern with LG but their current policy states that I have to try to repair it 5 times before they will refund my money. That's too big a gamble for me. I want this vacuum but $400 is an expensive vacuum for my budget. I am disappointed in LG on the whole. One thing that convinced me to buy this vacuum was my history of excellent customer service from LG. I was sure they would stand behind their product. Buyer beware! ... show more

This LG Cordzero series are the best vacuums out there! I’ve had one for 5+ years and have ‘retired’ to the not so used basement and got a replacement with this auto-emptying feature. Got this vacuum because I have a disability and I have a hard time taking my corded vacuum up and down the stairs. I keep this one in my entry way and use it for cat litter and hair downstairs. I have used it almost daily since I got it, and it finally asked me to change the bag because the vacuum is no longer emptying. I replace the bag, and empty the vacuum canister and put everything back following instructions to a t. The auto empty is no longer working. It seems to be a problem with the little sliding piece that sits under where the vacuum sits that is supposed to slide and pop open the canister. It sits in a place where any dust or debri that falls will get stuck in the cracks it needs to slide through, honestly a horrible (maybe intentionally horrible) design choice. I cleaned it out, as well as anywhere else I could reach on the machine and it’s just not working. I watched videos to see if there was anything else I can do but I guess I’m going to have to contact support to fix a 400 dollar vacuum that I’ve had for less than 3 months. Super! ... show more

I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on a Dyson vacuum… in my opinion, this thing is even better. The suction is great and the battery lasts much longer than needed for our 1200sqft home. Also, the auto empty feature is a great addition that I never knew I needed!
