  • Outstanding QHD monitors with Nvidia GPU compatibility built-in
Style: 165Hz
Purchase 2 of these LG 32 inch QHD ( 2560x1440) 165Hz monitors on 11/29/24 & received delivery on Dec 5, 2024. I replaced 2 long lasting 60hz LG 1080P monitors (1920x1080). I choose the flat screen monitors because I am using 2 of them together and the monitors have nice borderless edges between the 2 of them. I have an advance Nvidia RTX 4070 super graphics card along with a Rzyen 7 7800-3D 140MB cache CPU and these monitors will allow the full capabilities and power of this CPU & GPU combination. This monitor has Nvidia compatibility built-in to optimize monitor with the Nvidia GPU. The 165HZ refresh rate will allow you to play games at both the highest screen quality & highest speed performance. No lagging on game play with highest quality display. The QHD (2560x1440) is a good choice for both business & gaming. I had to adjust the text size to 125% on QHD because the text was so small to read at QHD. (2560x1440). A UHD 4K resolution is over-kill for desktop gaming & computer use ( text size) and this QHD monitor is a better choice. The 4K display UHD (3840x2160) is a better choice for large 75-85 inch TV viewing, but not for close up computer monitor use. These monitor have a matte screen finish versus glossly screen and this matte finish eliminates any background glare on the screens which can be annoying. This LG monitor has outstanding beautiful color display, good contrast and excellent brightness. I got both these monitorss on a Black Friday price deal of $249. They were price as high as $400 back on Sept 2024. Wait for the price to drop again and use free software (camelcamelcamel.com) to track the prices continuously with price alerts. • On Sale, Expected Issues, and Impressed
Style: 165Hz (O/C 180Hz)
I bought this to upgrade from a 25" 240hz 1080P monitor. Pros: + Large and crispy display. + Very bright for my use at just 40/100 brightness. + Good motion handling/response times with "Fast" overdrive setting across refresh range; professional reviews state overshoot sub 60hz but I don't personally see it. + Black frame insertion works well, don't see the red fringing noted by professional reviews. + Amazing colors and the brightest red you've ever seen. + Zero dead or stuck pixels on my unit. + Great gray uniformity, no clouding on my unit when displaying all grey. Cons - Subpar contrast ratio when comparing white versus black; the color makes up for it though to give a stark contrast. Lowering the brightness causes contrast issues to be more noticeable. - IPS glow can be excessive in bottom right corner when displaying a full black screen or comparing UI elements corner to corner. After a few days I don't notice it anymore, but it's odd because if you look at the display from the right side it disappears. - Very small amount of backlight bleed at bottom center (roughly 2" x 1"; normal panel lottery). Not visible during content and very acceptable overall. - Black frame insertion does not work with Gsync/Freesync enabled. Not a deal killer for me, but if it's something you want consider the Gigabyte M32Q though read reviews as I've read some panel QC issues (dead/stuck pixels). I don't miss the 240hz monitor. The pixel response times are an improvement over my previous monitor so it actually appears more fluid or same at a lower refresh rate. Always remember refresh rate means little if the response times aren't good enough. The input lag is also comparable, though driving a 1440P display versus 1080P does cause its own slight lag (normal increased delay between frames from drop in performance). I will say that 32" is probably too big for anyone playing competitive FPS games unless the monitor is set further back. Viewing the full screen takes an egregious amount of eye and head movement causing fatigue and decreased personal performance. It's just not as easy to see everything on the display at once. I'd say 27" as the limit there. For anything cooperative, story based, or consuming regular content though, the increased size is amazing for the immersion it provides. I have to mention the color. It's phenomenal. On dead pixels test, the colors are almost blinding in their intensity at just 40/100. The red pops the most and it's a sight to behold. I believe this is the main benefit of LG's Nano IPS panels that comes at the expense of contrast ratios. That contrast isn't as bad as I expected it to be based on reviews. The color does make up for it. Regarding the contrast, it's an odd one. The worst contrast panel I saw was on a TN gaming panel where the black was grey and the white was a shade of grey. Colors were also dull. The limited contrast on this panel is different. The black is grey but the white and colors are vibrant as hell. It's a much easier situation to deal with but if you're coming from a VA panel or OLED, you may dislike it. Overall, for the price I paid for it on sale ($279), this monitor feels like a steal. The panel lottery was kind. IPS glow similar to other reviews, no dead/stuck pixels, and only a very small amount of backlight bleed. ... show more

  • LG 32GP750-B Is the best monitor I have ever had the pleasure of using.
Style: 165Hz
Have you ever had a piece of computer hardware in your life where you always look forward for the next chance to use it? And while using it, you occasionally think to your self "Wow this thing is great, I love it!" That's exactly my sentiments regarding the LG 32GP750-B. It is by far the best computer monitor I have ever used. I strongly recommend it. If you are in the market for a desktop monitor that is 32 inches diagonal in size, 2560x1440 resolution, 165 hertz refresh, and a GORGEOUS ips back panel, then THIS is the monitor you want. I've had great luck with LG displays, my previous display before this one was in fact another LG model. Really the biggest and best thing I can say about the LG 32GP750-B is the colors are just absolutely phenomenal. Games look like they are going to jump out at you, the smoothness of the high refresh rate is just stunning, and it all comes with freesync premium which should eliminate tearing. This is the only monitor I have ever owned in which I was able to get the colors exactly the way I wanted them without needing to tweak the color saturation or 'digital vibrance' on my nvidia video card. That statement alone says what high quality color abilities this monitor actually has. Really, just buy it and see for yourself. It will be the best monitor choice you could make as of early 2023. And the controls on the bottom of the monitor are all controlled with a miniature joystick, it's very easy to use and makes changing settings a breeze. Way better than the previous multi-button setup I was accustomed to previously. LG really did a killer job with the LG 32GP750-B. I think it is the best 32" 2560x1440 monitor currently in the industry. ... show more
