August 2024 - This is more of a preview of my review as I have just bought this item and won't start using it until late September probably. I live in Minnesota and the air in the winter time is super dry and I use a humidifier in my 900 sq ft condo from late September until early April to battle all the issues that come with dry air. The last several years I've been using the 6 gallon Airfare humidifier and it has been a workhorse - very effective, super simple design however I've always been on the look out for a more attractive looking, more functional humidifier with maybe a little bit of tech involved and that also had a 4-6 gallon tank - very hard to find - however I think this item will fit the bill. I probably use 2-3 gallons of water in the dead of winter every day in a humidifier to keep my home humidity in the 35-45% range. My very initial thoughts on this product are - great design and build. Super simple set up. The app worked fine - it found the device and connected to it with no issue. The fan is whisper quiet on level 1 - and still very quiet on level 2. Even on level 1 and 2 the fan output upwards seem very good - moving a lot of air. I will update this review with more detail in a couple months with more detail once I actually start to use it. OCTOBER 2024 - UPDATE I have finally been able to begin using this humidifier regularly now that the weather and temps have gotten cooler and the air drier in the Minneapolis area. I am really liking this humidifier, it works well. Probably the one thing I appreciate is that the fan directs the air out of the device straight up - so it hits the room ceiling and spreads out - so it really helps circulate the moist air, in fact all the air in the room efficiently. I love the 'night mode' as the fan just runs at a very low speed all night - the display turns off and it just provides a constant level of humidity all night. I move the humidifier into my bedroom at night. The fan speed is low and there is no noise that I can hear from the fan. I'm also able to set up a schedule in the app so it goes into night mode automatically every night at 10:00 p.m. and another schedule sets it to 'auto' mode in the morning. The app also tracks the humidity level and fan speed so you can see the history of your room humidity. The wheels are a great feature but if you have 5-6 gallons of water and try to move it on carpet good luck - they just don't work - you need to grab the lip of the tank and lift it up a bit to move it on the wheels on carpet - but on hard surfaces it moves fine. Overall still like this humidifier a lot - provides a little bit of technology to a basically simple device which is what I like. The display is gorgeous and the overall look of this humidifier looks like something Apple would design. ... show more

Easy to assemble, love the filling hose, works great, very quiet, love the setting options. Using it for an area around 225 square feet and it's day 4 at 55% humidity and it only used 3 gallons of water (1/2 capacity) so far.

Decent evaporative humidifier that does good job of maintaining humidity in the home. With some drawbacks. Humidistat is off by up to 10% (higher than other measurements in the same room) Auto function only works at 50% (So, 40% since it is 10% inaccurate), and to change this you have to make an account on an app. Unnecessary data grabbing from Levoit. Shouldn't have to make an account to use the app. Even so, auto features are limited from what I read from others. I use the % mode and set it to 60% with the fan at the high setting in winter. There is no variable speed on this setting like there is with the auto setting, but oh well. It will short cycle for a few minutes when it reaches close to threshold. Then it turns off for a while, until a 10% drop occurs and then turns back on. It is fairly quiet and will go through six gallons in approximately 48 hours on colder nights and days. It is extremely easy to refill with the faucet tube adapter. Other than the "features" of this unit, and the wheels being hot garbage as they have to tendency to resist rotating, I have no complaints about its overall function. The filters are becoming discolored after about two weeks of use. I am not sure how long they will last before needing replacement. I am using tap water since I'm assuming the chlorine in it helps fight some of the bacteria. If you use filtered water, they may accumulate mildew at a faster pace. 2 Year Review - I have had this humidifier for over 2 years now and can say this is a great little workhorse for the money. The app is very intuitive and easy to operate which is one of the better features of this product. I didn't think I would use very often, but it's the main way I operate the humidifier now. I like how it tracks the humidity over time and makes it easy to adjust the humidity level through your phone especially if you're in a different room or even away from your house. It also alerts you when the tank is empty and also sends cleaning reminders. The water tank is just big enough to supply constant humidity over a 24+ hour period, but isn't overly bulky or heavy. The tank is also easy to empty and clean as well as transport from the faucet to the base unit. There's also a nice little drawer on the side to add essential oils for any menthol or soothing scents. Cleaning it can be a bit of a pain with all the plastic pieces but that's with any humidifier. If you don't keep up with cleaning, then you get a ton of mineral deposits on the parts. I do use filtered water which seems to help cut down the amount of mineral deposits. It's recommended to use distilled water, but it's too hard to keep up with buying jugs of distilled water. I just make sure to clean the unit every couple tanks with soap, barkeepers friend, or vinegar to get rid of the deposits and it works just fine. I also don't use the heat setting as that seems to create additional deposits and gunk. ... show more
